The first two episodes were terrible, I almost gave up watching It was mostly the captions, but there were other confusing aspects of the story too. After that, the series was much more enjoyable to watch.
I liked this series, but you could tell it was directed and produced by inexperienced people. The actors did good, within reason, but you could tell it was some of these actors first big job. It is OK, but not one of my favorites nor will I likely rewatch this. I hope to see some of these actors in other series.
I watched most of it on kisskh which had good picture quality, and had good captions for the most part, I would recommend trying there first. Dailymotion had some episodes as well, but were much worse picture quality (fuzzy) and the captions varied between horrible random garbage, to somewhat understandable grammar.
My only complaint is that it was too many episodes, and too many main and side characters. This could have been two separate shows with the amount of content here.
Otherwise, I thought it was good, and I enjoyed it.
The show seems cute, but the captions on Youtube are auto-translated from Thai to English, and very hard to follow. It was bad enough I had to bail out after the second episode, I rarely if ever do that. I couldn't make any sense of what was going on.
I would consider a revisit if they were able to update the captions.
I see a lot of hate for this, but I really enjoyed it. It was an easy watch, and was different than a lot of the typical BL series.
It did have interns, but it wasn't school based, nor were there engineers, boys in blue shorts, or anything of the sort. The only thing that would have changed or enhanced was the flashback timeline, a bit more of that might have cleared a few things up and made the story better.
Overall, I liked it a lot. I think it is worth a try, and if you don't love it, this could be a good filler for between other series.
I am sure I am going to mangle this word, forgive me in advance.
Is she the voiceover actress for the introduction to these shows where it goes RAIKANTOPENI or however you spell that? It probably isn't her, but it sounds very similar to me.
In general, I liked this series, but like a lot of recent GMM series, it has some pretty poor writing or directing or editing (or a combination of all 3). The story here was very uneven, and seemed to rush some parts while dragging in other places. Like a lot of people mentioned here, the first episodes were a lot better than the last, maybe an artifact of filming the ending first like they sometimes do?
Maybe my tastes have changed, but GMM used to be the best production quality for BL series. Now it seems like they are just producing whatever comes across their desk to fill a time slot on TV or to keep their actors busy. It comes across as half-hearted, in my opinion.
One bright point, at least it wasn't a Mame story!
The last 3 or 4 episodes are really unnecessary...I struggled finishing it tbh and kept watching for Ohm. The…
I didn't think the series was bad, but the first half was definitely better than the second half somehow.
I do think they could have stopped at episode 10 and edited things a bit tighter to speed things up. Possibly they needed more characters or else they needed to explore the plot more thoroughly to really fill these 10 episodes. For example, maybe Mhen and Jeen could have received a more screen time and shown more of their relationship.
Why is there so much hate for this, I find it to be really enjoyable with a little spice and cuteness. I also…
For me, it was a couple things. The story just didn't catch my attention for some reason. I thought it was slow and boring. Normally I like cute and fluffy series, and I don't even mind the silly series with crazy sound effects that Thailand often pumps out. For some reason this just lacks something, and I am not sure I can put my finger on it exactly.
Also, the directing and editing was in my eyes quite bad. The story lacks cohesion and it lacks growth and flow and character arcs and things like that. I think the director or editor could have fixed most of that. Maybe the story itself is also to blame, but the director/editor could have asked for rewrites to the story, or gave the actors better guidance to somehow make this shine.
I think the actors were fine, they had chemistry for the most part, and did a good job. The one thing that stood out with the actors is how they dubbed the Chinese actor. There had to be a way to make that better somehow, whether he didn't speak, or maybe he spoke in Chinese as a plot point, or something different than the cheesy dub. It isn't the actor's fault, again this is a director or editor choice that I think should have been handled differently.
I liked yin/tutor in cutie pie but it’s been down hill from then. I struggled to watch this and even when watching…
I could have written this myself. I struggled watching it too, it just didn't capture my attention like most other BL series do. Normally I binge watch a series in a few days or maybe a couple weeks at the most. I have been stuck on these 12 episodes, and no other series, for weeks now.
This series was cute in a way, and there were a few good scenes, but things just dragged on without much plot or character growth. There wasn't even a big 11th episode breakup scene or a white truck of death, or anything like that to add some level of drama or tension.
I like cute and fluffy series, but this wasn't so dumb to be silly, nor was it drama-filled and action-packed, it just lingered between.
There are amazing kissing/NC scenes in this series. Like omfg!!! They might be one of the best out there, both…
I can agree with quite a bit of what you said. There were too many characters that didn't add much to the series, the imaginary scenes didn't seem to fit the rest of the story somehow, and to me the whole thing just dragged out too long without much going on.
To me, I don't think it was the actors who were at fault. I think this series lacked a coherent vision or there was a lack of directing and/or editing. Like many BL series, they seem to be making up scenes to fill 12 episodes rather than having 12 episodes worth of content.
From the same people who gave 2gether a rating of 7.7...
2gether was quite bad, and I say so whenever the name comes up or someone says a some particular series is terrible. 2gether never deserved that high rating, I think fans of Bright pumped up the numbers.
I thought this series was a lot better than 2gether. Both the main and side couple had a nice relationship with growth from a silent crush, to having some intimacy like kissing and declaring they were a couple at the end. For being in high school, the intimacy seemed to be appropriate given their age, especially compared to 2gether which were college aged guys and never did more than hold hands.
This series also showed two young guys struggling with coming out both at school, and at home. It showed some very empathetic teachers who guided their students into liking themselves for who they are. It showed a healthy relationship between the teacher and his boyfriend. The moms were supportive of the sons. There were lots of good messages throughout this series.
Is MLMU on the same level as A Tale of a Thousand Stars or Not Me? Nope. But I don't think it ever was supposed to be something like that.
I've got no problem with this drama... I'm probably one of the few who loved it. I watched the Japanese version…
I also thought it was a good series, but I didn't watch watch the original series nor did I read the manga, so I can't tell if this is better or worse than the source material.

Anyone else?
I find him cute.
I'm thinking Saint wants to play footsie with Shin more than he wants to play football. 😘😘

That is how I feel about it. It was Okay, but not the best GMM has ever made.
