I agree , i binge watched the series and it was too good till 7 slowed till 10 and then unnecessary break up drama.…
Yea that was so funny. The tough guy who is "wrong" for Day and "not his type" treats Day like a king.
The supposedly warm and cuddly August treated Day like crap, but somehow he was Day's type. He even started out being mean to Day, and didn't even want to partner with him. I wasn't sure by the kiss scene whether August was even gay? August seemed so uncomfortable with that minimal intimacy.
Day is completely confused. Maybe he got a brain injury in the car crash along with his eye issues! He sure acts brain damaged at times.
I really loved this series right up until the last few episodes. The relationships are well-rounded and make sense…
Day dumping Mhok was very very irrational and extreme. I could see them (no pun intended) arguing about Mhok not being completely truthful. A mature couple, after the initial argument, would have sat down and Mhok could have explained his side of things.
Day should have accepted that Mhok just wanted to be with his boyfriend and not 2000 miles away. Day should have realized that Mhok has separation anxiety due to his past. Why couldn't they go to Hawaii together for a year or two? Why wouldn't Day accept Mhok working in Thailand ? None of it made sense, other than it was drama for drama sake.
Overall, Day was a jerk to Mhok who did nothing but treat Day with kindness. I don't think it is pity to want to help someone or to stay with someone you love. Of course Day was just a jerk in general to Night, Mom, the other caretakers, and about everyone else in this series, so being a jerk toward Mhok probably comes naturally.
I loved this series, but that dude Day needs some counseling!
Despite what others say, I thought this was a great series! It had a unique story, and the actors were all great. Some have complained about the repetitive nature of the story, but there is a reason for this, you have to watch and listen for the differences during these scenes. You gain some knowledge about the story with each cycle. There are many sad parts but many happy parts as well.
Is anyone else kinda disappointed we didnt get any scenes where First, Sprite and Zee were together?
In Ep12, they could have done a double date with Sprite/First and Zee/Salmon. Wasted opportunity to put them all in the same room and resolve at least one issue.
How do you know they are straight ? they get annoyed probably because that question shouldn’t be asked and everyone…
» "After SOTUS, he admitted that his intimate scenes were very uncomfortable and just wanted to finish them ASAP."
I am gay, and if I was an actor doing a love scene with a woman, I would be uncomfortable. Heck, I might even be uncomfortable doing a love scene with another guy for fear I might get too into the scene. You also might be uncomfortable if you did not like your acting partner.
» "when asked if he enjoys watching a certain series with straight and gay couples, he responded with 'I skip all gay couple scenes as they're not things guys would enjoy watching."
Similarly, I do the same (but opposite) thing as he does. I feel uncomfortable watching straight couples make out and go raid the refrigerator or something when those scenes come on.
» "What does that tell you about him?"
I think that makes him a guy who is attracted to women, just like I am a guy attracted to guys.
I am not defending him exactly. I am not his fan or whatever you may call it, but I have enjoyed a couple of his series. Maybe he shouldn't have said all this out loud, but different cultures have different levels of politeness and openness when speaking in public. I feel a lot of this is way overblown. If he really hated gays, he wouldn't be doing BL series, there are many actors who have never done a BL series, nor felt the need to. He doesn't have to take the job if he is that uncomfortable in that situation. He could even leave GMM if they have pigeonholed him into being a BL actor.
Krist is not homophobic.https://twitter.com/hadakanomind/status/1570169209740574721Newer fans might say he's 'changed',…
I don't know the whole story (read parts of it), but I think a lot of these incidents are things taken out of context, or people being pestered (bullied even) into these situations. Actors can have a bad day just like everyone else, or just get fed up with hearing the same insipid question over and over again. These actors are just humans, fans need to get a life and worry about their own issues instead of what someone may or may not have said.
I wasn't sure I was going to like this, but I did enjoy it a lot. This seems like a different type of role for Krist, but I haven't seen all of his series. He has a different set of facial expressions, and even looks a bit different in some way. He is a good actor, but must have got some good coaching for this role as well.
On a purely superficial note, Krist must be tiny, at least he appears so compared to Fluke/Gawin. According to the GMM page, there is only a 9cm height difference between the two, but it looks like more than that.
Yikes, something being a sequel anthology to 8?9? Works… that is madness! Why not just do like the rest of the…
Well that, and MDL has overly complicated it. I still don't get the MDL duplication of this series.
There is a MDL entry for the whole series. There is also an entry for each couple's episodes (two shows each), so there are 8 of those listings. Then there is an entry for a crossover episode, which is the exact same two of the previously mentioned 16 shows. Then there are the Behind the Scenes episodes listing.
The whole thing is just completely confusing (and frankly ridiculous) the way it is entered into MDL. It should have been either separate couple episodes (probably not), or just a complete standalone series (probably this). If you didn't want to watch all 16 episodes, then don't watch them, or mark them as watched, or even just ignore them. Either way, there was no need for 10 separate entries for the same show!
Or like you said, these pairs of episodes could have been tacked onto the listing for the original part 1 of the couples series like every other sane country in the world.
I can't believe im gonna say this but.. this was not as bad as I expected?? don't get me wrong, its horrendous.…
I can see what you mean about the throwback aspect of this series, maybe that is why I liked it. If you compare it to series of that time, it would fit right in and be fairly popular. However if you compare it to Not Me or even Tale of a Thousand Stars, this series is definitely not in the same class.
I don't know. It wasn't the greatest, but I still enjoyed it a lot. I feel it would have been more cohesive if…
I liked it a lot too. It wasn't a high dollar super-scripted GMM production by any means. But it was cute, fluffy, and easy to watch. It was short enough to watch while other stuff on my list completes. (I don't watch something until the whole series is complete and available!)
I’m on episode 9 and golly, I have had to force myself to stick with it. I feel so bad for the cast because…
I have to agree. I am stuck at Ep 9, and I have stopped watching for weeks now. I never do that with a series. I will probably force myself to watch the last couple episodes mostly just to say that I completed the series.
Frank acting as Itt for me was terrible to watch. A total cry baby! I am thinking to read the books… is Itt…
I really like Frank, and I think he is adorable as can be. However I think he was miscast in this series. Either that, or the director or acting coach didn't quite get things right with the way they told Frank to play this part. In lots of the series he acts way too juvenile and like you said, whiny. If they would have dialed it back about 50% it would have been a lot better.
