So, I just binged and got up to date again (episode 50) by skimming a lot of episodes because I have no interest in what's happening with He Xia, and the plotline between the OTP is keeping me interested. Angelababy has really grown on me haha. I'm really loving the supporting characters of Yang Feng/Ze Yin and Zui Ju.

Title Eternal Love
i thinik dramafever licensed it o.o if you search the name, they have a page for it
Honestly, historical/fantasy c-drama subs on Viki are only as good as the channel manager and translators, and they're all volunteers. I'm so glad Dramafever is taking over Viki :D

Watched up to episode 20 so far, and it's not a great piece of art by any means and sometimes borders on "so bad it's good" (e.g. Tarzan scene) but it's entertaining, provided I fast-forward through pretty much anything that isn't about the main pair. I don't know how it's going to go another 40 episodes though...

Title Ode to Joy Spoiler
Okay please tell me I'm not the only one who finds Qi Dian/Wei Wei creepy? I don't really know why,…
Yeah, I found him SO creepy and invasive. He refused to respect her personal space and was really pushy, and touched her just to prove the point that she didn't like physical contact? And the way that he turned up at her workplace in the middle of the day after they broke up... I was so glad when her boss punched him in the face.

I just finished watching this, and it's become one of my favourite dramas ever ;u;
I watched on YT without subs, sorry! I think there might be subs on Viki though?

I just finished it! I thought that the ending seemed super rushed, even if there were a few nice scenes squashed in. The drama would have benefitted from one more episode :( I hope there's a season two though!

I love Gao Godfrey. But I read the book (English translation) and I ended up not liking the story. I am really…
What didn't you like about the book? I've read the book and seen the drama, and I liked the drama much better. I can tell you if the parts you didn't like have been changed or not haha.

Not bad fr bits n pieces i saw but Yang Zi was underwhelming as Xue Qi. Not what i expected since she was great…
Xue Qi is the only main character that we haven't gotten any backstory yet... Yang Zi is a pretty good actress, but I feel like they're trying to give her a Bai Zi Hua vibe.

It's off to a really good start, but then again, most Chinese dramas don't start to crash and burn until a decent amount of episodes in. Yang Zi is so pretty ;u;

Cheng Jia Yang is a nightmare boss, but I'm really liking it so far! Unfortunately, Wen Xiao Hua and Gao Jia Ming's subplot is bland as hell.

i want to start this drama but it has so many episodes and i don't know.. is it good? should i start it? :/ :/…
50 episodes is actually pretty normal for a Chinese historical drama, especially ones set before the Republican Era. I thought that it was pretty good, but the way that the love triangle played out wasn't very typical and the pacing wasn't that great.

Hmmm I'm watching the MV of the title song and I'm wondering... is Wallace Huo actually not the main guy?!?!?!…
I remember seeing in an interview or something a long time ago that Wallace is the lead male, but his character isn't her "true love."

i cant believe this show is the top show among all asian shows this is a sick joke if u wonder to watch this or…
Your logic makes no sense. 1 Litre of Tears has been out for longer, and attracts a larger audience than Nirvana in Fire because of the story of the drama itself. A lot more people watch modern day Japanese dramas than historical political Chinese ones. The ratings are calculated from the people who watched the drama and rated it. If Nirvana in Fire rated higher than 1 Litre of Tears, then it means that the proportion of international fans on MDL who watched Nirvana in Fire and rated it highly, was higher than the proportion of 1 Litre of Tears viewers who watched it highly. It's just how it works, no foul play. If you think the number of rating should be taken into account, take it up with MDL staff.
