I know what dramas to watch just by reading the synopsis, I know if it will interest me and if its going to be…
Yeah but that can be tricky. I was never into Sci-Fi yet gave a chance to "Are you human too" and was blown away. Maybe that can count as an exception, I don't know. But it made me reconsider the "synopsis" thing, however, if it still works for you good for you.
Loved the article. That's my struggle with "Encounter". Too slow. Not feeling the couple much. Yet I feel the plot might be interesting. The same happened to me with "Misaeng", it was even worse cause the plot IS interesting, the cast IS great, the performances ARE quality. The only problem to me was the pace - too slow. This is the only drama I dropped that I recommend, cause I figured someone else might digest the slow pace. I also dropped a few classics : Boys over flowers, Descendants of the sun, It's ok that's love, and Kill Me Heal Me. Never saw the hype.
I miss Shin Min Ah and Soo Ae, everyone else... meh. I'm a fan of some but they need that hiatus. Like Yoon Eun Hye, after that Marry Him if You Dare fiasco she needs to take a long break and make better choices.
Interesting. Something made me think twice about watching this drama, although I am a Lee Sang Yoon fan. Loved your review, glad I didn't waste my time!
Started the drama because of him. Goodness I'm struggling so much, nothing to do with his acting, just... the…
She's some dumb airhead that can't be left alone. I mean first episode she gets "lost" cause she was left alone or something by her staff/entourage. She's at least in her mid-20s in the show. I couldn't finish the 1st epi. Nothing against the actress per say. It's her character that is ridiculous.
Kudos to the writer for trying. I'm aware that it is easier to criticize than to actually create. But as viewers, I guess that's also our privilege. I didn't wanna ruin the party in the main page of this drama, so I'll post my take on it here. It is so brave to tackle on such a touchy subject but I believe it is pretty poorly addressed. The 1st reason being because the main character is not relatable. She had a monstrous face, which led to ostracism, 95% of plastic girls in Korea had normal faces to begin with. How can any of them connect with the main character, her pain and past struggle, her (legit) reason for surgery, she's not telling their story. Even some "natural beauties" of the show look suspect. Besides that, pace, how bullying was addressed, acting, all of this made me cringe so much I couldn't finish the show.
Am I the only one having a problem with how painfully dumb and childish this grown woman is? I don't know if I can finish the 1st episode, 25min in and seriously I'm struggling.
Hi. Are speaking about the Japanese version.I believe that was the first one.I do not remember the name of it,…
Hey :) Jemerald got it right i was referring to the taiwanese version. I thought that was actually the 1st one ever, I stand corrected haha, I don't really know.
P.S. : Does ToD mean Truck of Death?
