Also he was in dilemma when he had to choose between dancing and acting. I understand why it was difficult for him. He's talented in acting, but he's also super talented in dancing. That's probably why he could act Yu Tu so well, as he knew exactly how painful Yu Tu felt in the first half of the drama.

I'm glad Yang Yang chose to be an actor, as he brought me Ye Xiu and Yu Tu. However, at the same time I couldn't stop imagining a different future of him being a top dancer.

No drama is for everyone. If you can not appreciate the slow but beautiful pace of YAMG, just quit it. There are tons of Romance you can enjoy. I'm not a Romance fan, but Aerospace kept me watching this drama.

I checked his interview of being director for one day. He actually insisted that he's an actor and will act for his whole life. He said he may do something for children when he was asked if he's got chance to direct something.

OMG! Guess what I found!! Yang Yang actually directed YAMG for one day when Director Wang Zhi was busy shooting other scenes. What surprised me most was that at least three scenes directed by Yang Yang had impressed me a lot when I was watching the drama. I first read the novel then the anime, and then the drama. I like all of them, but I prefer the drama than the anime. In the first season, anime didn't center on Ye Xiu much and his personality was pretty ambiguous until the last two eps. TV drama didn't follow the book exactly, but I like how it elaborated Ye Xiu's personality, his family background, and his life as the leader of his ex-team. The director is a big fan of the novel and he fully understands the core of the novel and the spirit of the OLD DUDES in the league.

I disagree, you can blame his acting being not so flexible back then, but he's just following the script. She's supposed to be cooperate like a lover as Reba did, but she didn't.

Even though my favorite drama is the King's Avatar, I agree that Yang Yang did an even better job in YAMG. Still I love his Ye Xiu so very much.

I registered MDL because of You Are My Glory, but my favorite C-drama is and possibly will always be the King’s Avatar. TV version didn't 100% follow the novel, but I'm totally fine with it, and I would say I love most of the changes in the drama. Ye Xiu became my NO.1 fav in the league because of the TV adaption. He replaced the NO.1 position of Sun Zheping and Zhang Jiale in my heart, who were my favs when I was reading the novel.

You are unbelievably biased. Love O2O has never been my favorite drama because the actress didn't respect her role at all. She refused to eat properly that she's skinny like a skeleton. Her image was completely the opposite of the character in the novel. Not to mention how off her acting was in kissing scenes.

Aerospace is actually something really new and fresh in tv industry. As a Sci-Fi lover, I had lots of fun watching the aerospace story line, especially ep9-10. Their experiments in the desert also interested me. It was thrilling when Yu Tu's dream eventually became true. BTW, I also like the character of Guan Zai very much.

The relation between FL&ML is mature and healthy in YRMG. They both are independent. Each has his/her own dream to pursue, they respect and support each other's career . Jing Jing showed up when Yu Tu was in dilemma and she warmed his heart, which made Yu Tu fell in love with her. Yu Tu would return back to Aerospace no matter what, as he's born for that.

Don't be discouraged. Jing Jing would pursue her dream by all means whether there's Yu Tu or not. I didn't mean to deny the importance of Jing Jing in Yu Tu's life at all. It's just like what Guan Zai said that Yu Tu would never really leave Aerospace. Yu Tu made his decision after him&Guan Zai successfully saved the satellite, as he knew Aerospace was everything for him and also he knew he was the one to take over the project after Guan Zai got hospitalized.

Actually Yu Tu would launch his rocket by all means, but without Jing Jing, his life would not be so colorful.
