GOTSF or WRTW?

Just came from Glory Of The Special Force<----best drama of the year. Now I'm slowly getting into Who Rules The World.

April and May belong to Yang Yang *satisfied*.

As the director related YPY to Rukawa from Slam Dunk, Rukawa didn't learn to corporate with team members until the last basketball game. Both Rukawa and YPY are interesting characters to me. I think it's not fair to blame YPY for the loss of Lu Xiao Tian. BTW, Guo Xiao Xiao had put the whole team in danger for not equipping a guard after Yue Kong died, no one criticized her for her emotional and unwise choice. I wonder why? Bai Long gave Cao Ben very hard time and kept torturing him for long. However, all through the drama, Qin Feng only scolded YPY and put lots of false labels on him, and some audience do the same, ignoring the mental issue he had gone through and lots of decisions he made were indeed correct.

Way too obvious. No matter what kind of reasons they have , they chose to gave mark not because of the quality but because of their personal issues.

I believe whoever gave low mark on his drama are either blind or being jealous.

No, not because of that. China has very restrict (yet not clearly written censorship rules) in drama&movie industry.

I know Yang Yang always looks handsome, but I never felt him this hot in the last two episodes of GOSF.

I heard about it. What a shame to censor such a great drama.

I believe lots of contents were censored out in recent episodes. After Yan Po Yue escaped from the base of drug dealer, there should be some interaction between him and his friend Xiao Yun Jie, as Xiao was so worried about his missing. Also Xiao Fei needs a bit of screen time after he went through his spy mission. The fight between Yan Po Yue and Xing Tian also missed scenes after they drew out blade and axe.

ep21 is legendary ep after ep15&16.

I just gave this drama 5 stars. I'm generally not into military genre, but this drama is surprisingly good. The director +the script writer did great teamwork. The narration is so intense and ep 4&5 ep8 ep11 ep15&16 are pure gold (I haven't watched 17&18 yet). I believe GOSF will be one of the best c-dramas this year.

BTW, Yang Yang deserves 5 stars for his acting in ep8 and ep11. Yan Po Yue's character may be debatable but Yang Yang's acting is undoubtedly convincing in this genre. I don't see anyone in his generation could do better than him.

IMO, the aerospace part shows the quality and value of this drama. I didn't expect to see such a solid professional story line in a Romance drama. What a pleasant surprise!

BTW, I want to give full credit to director Wang Zhi. He is definitely one of the most promising directors of urban life drama in this generation.

4.5b is on its way!

I start to feel irritated by ppl keep saying first 18 eps are slow and dull, fast forward to ep19 and blahblah. I would not recommend YAMG to ppl who are merely looking for fluffy romance full of candies . If beautiful narration is not your cup of tea, if character building is not necessary for you, forget about YAMG. YAMG is actually quite serious about character's inner struggle, and the director did a great job presenting it. If you fast forward the core part of the drama, you miss the value, so what's point to watch it?
