Seems like lots of FLX's action scenes in last a few episodes were cut off for no reason. Anyway, the producer of WRTW, the director, the script writer and the constantly bad hairstylist (not including ponytail) please stay away from Yang Yang's future projects. Also wish the quality of his coming drama is as good as You Are My Glory, Glory of the Special Forces, or the King's Avatar.

I really enjoyed the warrior competition tho. Yan Po Yue was so smart and hot there :D

Depends on the sponsors and the producers. If the drama is produced by streaming website like Tencent or Iqiyi, then it's only aired on its specific website.

geez! some ppl on this page need to stop blaming actor/actress for inconsistent script writing. Actor/actress can only act based on the script. The adaption of this drama obviously doesn't follow the novel much, please show your frustration at the right direction.

BTW, Yang Yang played villain before, James Wu from The Unbearable Lightness of Inspector Fan and he was amazing there. Yang Yang also said a few times that he wanted to play villain. So please stop "the Perfect Boy" rumor towards him and his fans ok?

Not everyone sticks to the novel, and the view count of this drama is pretty good compare to other Tencent costume dramas. Honestly, the novel is pretty empty in content...I personally don't think this drama is superiorly good, but ppl keep bringing up the novel makes me want to roll my eyes.

FLX is not being a coward. He can't just kill his father to be a king. You need to think in context. Also the censorship of Chinese drama doesn't allow ML/FL to kill their parents. Anyway, FLX's father will be powerless and lonely eventually.

EP33&34 reminded me why I kept watching this drama. Yong Zhou story line is not fit for the targeted audience of Tencent costume drama, as they mostly come for easy fluffy romance, but this story line has quality, better plotting and better acting. The emotion between Feng family members are real. If it was the relation between FLX and Feng Chang attracted me before, now it's the Father&Son war impressed me. So far EP28 is the top episode of the whole drama, followed by EP33&34.

I know you didn't intend to. Just the source of the info was wrong. Over 5B (around5.5B) is more accurate, as Tencent has 2.2B, iqiyi normally is the same as Tencent, while Youku is usually over half of Tencent or iqiyi.

FLX and Feng Chang's bitter&sweet relationship is the only relationship I enjoyed in this drama.

top c-drama in years

Just don't miss ep28. You'll be amazed. He's too good for this drama. ep14-18 were fine for me. I enjoyed the bitter&sweet relationship between FLX and his elder brother Feng Chang. Romance part actually bored me and made me want to quit.

Picked up this drama again and finished EP28. Yang Yang's acting is at legendry level in episode 28, and somehow overly good for a Tencent costume drama *sigh* <-----sorry I have an issue with Tencent costume drama because of the bad script writing in general.

If anyone was impressed by his acting in EP28, I'll strongly recommend King's Avatar, Glory of the Special Forces and You Are My Glory. All of them are top c-dramas and have great stories&acting.

Miss Yan Po Yue so badly. I hope Yang Yang's new drama My Fireworks on Earth can be as good as GOTSF or YAMG.

Gosh ep21&22 are so full of low quality c-drama cliches. Yang Yang should never accept to act in any Tencent costume drama. I've heard how badly written they usually are. Gonna skip all the plots involving romantic relationship from now on.

Thank goodness, Yang Yang's other romance dramas were written by GuMan.

Just some bad writing I would say. I prefer politic line without FL since the script writer doesn't know how to balance the characters. FL should work on her own story line instead of being glued to ML.

Exciting to know! I'm still at ep19 of WRTW

Quality wise, it's very good. Everything about this drama is at top level I would say. Characters are interesting and the story goes really fast and exciting. However, it's hardcore military drama, so it might not be for everyone.

I think I got into this drama at ep4 when FLX acted weak and vulnerable in front his dad~ FLX is a real good actor~XD First three episodes were fine and ponytailed FLX was delicious. Just the plotting was a bit too plain somehow. Ep15&16 were my top favorite eps so far. I also like the emotional relationship between FLX and his elder brother Feng Chang. I'm not a fan of romance, so ML&FL relation is cute to watch but not very necessary to me.
