He was a dancer?? Gosh, and I thought YY couldn't get any more attractive-- gorgeous, funny, witty, talented actor,…
He graduated from one of the two top dancing schools in China, and he was also the top student there. I was totally speechless when watching the video above. The performance has a name--Dandelion. So beautiful. It's just unbelievable. You are right. He's already very attractive, however he's probably far beyond what we knew about him.
BTW, do you know he actually directed YAMG for one day. The scene of Yu Tu wandering around the bus station after he rejected JJ was directed by Yang Yang himself!
her works will be taken down from Chinese official platforms. For Youtube, i think Croton is included since Youku…
It's gone. Thank to Zhen Shuang. Could you please from now on stop abusing Yang Yang and Xiao Nai? I'm fed up with this actress and her incredibly biased fans.
I just had to drop by and sayYou Are My Glory will always have a special place in my heart. I appreciate the author…
Gu Man showed us the classic way of story telling still works nowadays. She didn't purposely add conflicts to grab audience's attention. She had her own flow, slow, quiet and beautiful. Director Wang did a great job visually collaborating with Gu Man's script. Yang Yang&Reba portrayed their characters very well, and ep 16 presented the most mind blowing performance from Yang Yang, which made me fall for him real hard. Guan Zai is my favorite supportive character in this drama btw. I watched the same actor's drama Day and Night before. Highly recommend it if you like criminal investigation drama.
With whom has he had the best chemistry? This is my first drama with him as the ML and if I'm melting now, I'll…
If you mean hot steaming kinda chemistry, yes Reba for sure. If you mean innocent cute kinda chemistry, I wanna recommend this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IHDp-HxD_k the girl in the story was played by Zhen He Hui Zi, and she's Pei Pei in YAMG.
Just finished this, binged it in like 2 says... I loved everything but after they got together, after it finished,…
I came from the King's Avatar, in which Yang Yang was quite playful and flexible. I think his performance in YAMG was mostly based on Yu Tu's personality and his professional background.
I know many will come back at this drama after You Are My Glory...Just so you know, Love O2O was a total gem at…
It's not my favorite drama because the actress of WeiWei did give me a very hard time to follow the story. Xiao Nai and KO&Beauty couple were the reasons for me to keep watching it. However, you are right about the timing of the drama, and it's probably the most popular C-drama in history if you check the viewcount on youtube.
I discovered that Yang Yang was a professional dancer before he became an actor. His graduation dance was breathtakingly beautiful!!! He's so talented, which is beyond perfection. check this video: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1px411K7PT
Also he was in dilemma when he had to choose between dancing and acting. I understand why it was difficult for him. He's talented in acting, but he's also super talented in dancing. That's probably why he could act Yu Tu so well, as he knew exactly how painful Yu Tu felt in the first half of the drama.
I'm glad Yang Yang chose to be an actor, as he brought me Ye Xiu and Yu Tu. However, at the same time I couldn't stop imagining a different future of him being a top dancer.
Why is the rating 8.8?!?! I got so bored ...with the bland storyline... Also I am sick of satellite now.
No drama is for everyone. If you can not appreciate the slow but beautiful pace of YAMG, just quit it. There are tons of Romance you can enjoy. I'm not a Romance fan, but Aerospace kept me watching this drama.
I have a feeling for his future plans, he may be aiming at going into directing instead of acting because he seems…
I checked his interview of being director for one day. He actually insisted that he's an actor and will act for his whole life. He said he may do something for children when he was asked if he's got chance to direct something.
OMG! Guess what I found!! Yang Yang actually directed YAMG for one day when Director Wang Zhi was busy shooting other scenes. What surprised me most was that at least three scenes directed by Yang Yang had impressed me a lot when I was watching the drama. WOW this guys is really something! check the link and the caps show which scenes were directed by him https://www.douban.com/group/topic/243597090/
Even though my favorite drama is the King's Avatar, I agree that Yang Yang did an even better job in YAMG. Still…
I first read the novel then the anime, and then the drama. I like all of them, but I prefer the drama than the anime. In the first season, anime didn't center on Ye Xiu much and his personality was pretty ambiguous until the last two eps. TV drama didn't follow the book exactly, but I like how it elaborated Ye Xiu's personality, his family background, and his life as the leader of his ex-team. The director is a big fan of the novel and he fully understands the core of the novel and the spirit of the OLD DUDES in the league.
totally in agreement. I like the novel a lot but I love the drama even more. Yang Yang and Reba performances in…
I disagree, you can blame his acting being not so flexible back then, but he's just following the script. She's supposed to be cooperate like a lover as Reba did, but she didn't.
I registered MDL because of You Are My Glory, but my favorite C-drama is and possibly will always be the King’s Avatar. TV version didn't 100% follow the novel, but I'm totally fine with it, and I would say I love most of the changes in the drama. Ye Xiu became my NO.1 fav in the league because of the TV adaption. He replaced the NO.1 position of Sun Zheping and Zhang Jiale in my heart, who were my favs when I was reading the novel.
totally in agreement. I like the novel a lot but I love the drama even more. Yang Yang and Reba performances in…
You are unbelievably biased. Love O2O has never been my favorite drama because the actress didn't respect her role at all. She refused to eat properly that she's skinny like a skeleton. Her image was completely the opposite of the character in the novel. Not to mention how off her acting was in kissing scenes.
