As someone who is a fan of Lee Jong Suk's acting, I don't know why I'm smiling knowing that there…
That's the case with me, though I haven't seen any of his previous dramas purely because the plots haven't seemed to be my cup of tea... I usually get bored easily in a drama if I'm not invested into the story/characters, so I admit I'm quite picky with plots. But I like this one, so I picked it up. I like what I've seen so far (eps 1-6).

But we'll see, haha... I mean, I was convinced I wasn't going to be a fan of Ji Chang Wook initially as I had the misconception he might just be overhyped, but I quickly became a huge fan of his acting/charisma and now he's my favourite actor.

That's not to say I don't like him or find him to be a bad actor, but rather that my opinion of him at the moment is neutral as he has yet to really stand out to me. Prior to watching While You Were Sleeping, I've only seen him in No Breathing (which I did enjoy as a whole, and liked his interactions with Seo In Guk's character) and 7 First Kisses, which isn't really enough to judge from.

I like the plot of this drama, it has good potential and I didn't think the first eps would impact me as much as they did. The cinematography is really pretty too, and I like what I've seen so far, so I will keep watching.

Let me start by saying I'm probably one of the few who is watching purely because the unique premise/plot intrigued me a lot, and because I needed something to fill the void that I've had since Suspicious Partner ended, rather than because I'm a fan of any particular actor (I began with little expectations of Suzy as I usually am skeptical of idol actors/actresses, and Lee Jong Suk always seemed kinda weird looking/unattractive to me and didn't really stand out to have much charisma from what I've seen of him).

I admit that this drama surprised me, after giving it a chance. I didn't expect to like it enough to want to (warily) continue watching, although it's still early days as I have only seen the first 4 episodes. There's a lot of potential and I'm enjoying the cinematography too, so I only hope they keep it up and don't let me down in later episodes, though I'm still keeping my expectations relatively low to avoid disappointment.

Honestly... neither of them kept my interest for long enough to get past the initial episodes. I think it's just a matter of personal taste. The visuals were good but I found myself getting bored.

I'm going to watch this because of Hong Jong Hyun! TBH I'm not a fan of Yoon Ah's acting so I need…
I thought I was the only one considering just watching for HJH... though I think I'll wait for more episodes to air first

I'm emotional... I'm going to miss this drama a lot. Surprisingly found the last few episodes satisfying even though there were slight disappointing parts, but I found myself enjoying it a lot overall. Props to all the cast, especially Dong Ha for his performances and also our main leads : )

I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with myself when this drama is over, I'm going to miss it so much.

Actually... that's a lie. I'm going to wait for the DVD release and then enjoy the drama all over again (and the bonus content) haha...

On another note, guess who's been replaying JCW's OST track on loop? Totally not me : )

Looking forward to Criminal Minds (I'm really excited to see how LJG pulls off this role) and also Bride of the Water God despite not having seen the original adaptations of either series.

Title Suspicious Partner Spoiler
From adorably cute to steamy (I swear I saw JCW's tongue make an appearance there, like in the no cut version of their first kiss... will be waiting for the behind the scenes clips for this scene too, so please spoil us again SBS!!) to heartbreaking, this drama gives me emotional whiplash lmao

I saw Dat coming
I started getting bad vibes when Chief Bang continued to investigate on his own despite Ji-wook telling him not to... but I was also expecting Eun-hyuk to be the one in danger. I do hope he's not actually dead though...

I love how Ji Wook can be really cute and at another moment really cold/cool.
JCW agreed in an interview that Ji-wook's character is kinda tsundere-ish haha... it makes him really lovable though

Title Suspicious Partner Spoiler
I suspect that Ji Eun Hyuk is probably the one who is going to die. Eun Bong Hee is the protagonist, and I have…
I made a discussion thread about this since I'm curious to hear everyone's thoughts, but I also agree that Eun-hyuk is the most likely contender. But after hearing the precognition guy's last words to Ji-wook telling him not to cry so much, I suspect that Eun-hyuk may actually turn out to be alive afterwards.

Really glad I picked this drama up from when it first aired, both out of anticipation of seeing JCW in a romantic comedy and also as I really like Nam Ji Hyun from what I've seen of her in Shopping King Louis. I'm really enjoying the chemistry between our two leads, as well as the mystery/murder aspects of the plot. It's well-balanced, in my opinion. However, I really do wonder where the amnesiac killer synopsis comes into play, as we're halfway through the series and there's no mentions or hints at the killer having amnesia.

That aside, I don't understand all the hate for Bong Hee as a character, nor the general hate for this drama, but each to their own. I can understand constructive comments and differing tastes, as there are popular dramas which are overrated in my opinion and I admit to being critical myself, but seeing people blindly hating popular shows, especially hate directed at female leads, is getting tiring...
