agreed like just keep it as friendship between the three, sure. the way her character is written is awful, no hate to the actress. why is she still acting like a giddy highschooler with a onesided crush in her late twenties towards a guy who is clearly disinterested?

i definitely liked it better when it was just focused on the friendship between them too. the light one-sided crush thing was fine when they were still in school bc that's normal with teens but... after 9 years as a grown adult you'd surely have taken the hint by now and moved on, especially when he's just been so dismissive the whole time. but nope, it's like they're still kids.

so far just incredibly forced romance between fl and kang pio 💀 largely one-sided on her end

i really hope they don't throw in some amnesia plot either, i hope he's angry as he has every right to be.

it was so out of place. the entire romance thing seems entirely forced and i simply don't care for it. would've been better off if she gave up after all those years of it being onesided like girl it's been NINE YEARS and he's still as indifferent as ever...

this. like i get everyone grieves differently but why would you suddenly decide that NOW after 10 years you're feeling guilty after reaping the benefits from the competition? also would it not make sense to act on your suspicions asap after the incident? like come on, it was clearly foul play and orchestrated bc who with money and influence would stand to benefit from jy being gone? just take a look at those around you. none of these characters seem to have grown as people whatsoever since the timeskip, just the same as ever.

this was one of the weakest episodes so far (ep6). the romance feels so forced lmao i was just wanting to get on with the rest of the ep and waiting to find out what happened to jeongyo... like idk the kiss felt so misplaced too when he was in the middle of grieving. and there's no chemistry... he's still as indifferent as ever and she's still as clingy.

why is everyone suddenly so chill with his insane mother too? i was glad when mr do finally shut her up for once as he's the only person who seems to be able to (aside from the asshole grandpa). i get that everyone grieves differently and he's also been through a lot but i started to get annoyed with how pi-oh acted in the interviews too... like dude you've also been lapping up the fame and reaping the rewards of jeongyo's interpretation for nearly a decade too? why suddenly have a crashout over it now? it doesn't make sense to not be suspicious earlier either bc CLEARLY someone with money and power paid those mercenary guys off... there's only a handful of people who would even stand to benefit from jeongyo being gone like confront the mother directly? i don't know, it's just frustrating.

timeskips are often a hit of miss for me in general bc of this. none of these characters seem to have grown at all despite the timelapse. i just want jeongyo to be happy and flourishing and thriving tbh like let the man live in peace at this point he's been through enough as it is.

agreed. you can disagree with his actions and criticise him but he's also ultimately a victim of his own family too and clearly does care a lot about jeongyo still.

that and the fact that she was sneaking around at night in that scene when she returned in the early morning to her son still practicing... and he's also suspicious of why she was out so late. definitely red flags there bc we already know how extreme she is

why do i feel like his asshole of a mother orchestrated this bc she's genuinely unhinged (as is the rest of the kang family)... jeongyo is too good for this world, man

every episode just makes me hate all the adults around our two mains even more... definitely convinced now that the teacher, mr do, is one of the boys' father now that both their biological dads are unknown (esp with how pioh's mother kissed him like that???). which makes me question even more since he's been the "nicest" of the adults in this drama so far... like if that was the case, why would he abandon his own child like that?

the true evil is pioh's family good lord... i fear what's going to come with the way they keep turning him against jeongyo :(

really glad i decided to give this one a chance despite it not being my usual go-to type of drama... i'm always skeptical of actors that are 30+ or close to that playing high schoolers in dramas lmao but i'm willing to suspend disbelief as they both do look younger than their ages and everything else about the drama is so promising so far. i don't think i'm emotionally ready for the angst that will follow though... i'm also curious as to how much both actors have experience in playing piano themselves.

i mean... inguk already gave us the masterpieces he did in k.will's mvs i have no doubt that he would in a full-length drama

honestly amazing start to finish... the ending scene was great even if the final episode itself and second half of ep9 felt pretty rushed, which i expected just bc of the length of the episodes... could've done with having a one hour finale or something to properly tie up loose ends. all the actors (even side characters) were incredible, especially yoonsik who really won me over with his acting. i really hope to see our main pair in another drama together

they absolutely nailed it with this casting... yunsik had me going through all the emotions in these latest episodes. i just fear it's too short to properly wrap everything up in only 2 episodes... so many things to resolve still. really hoping for a season 2 at least...

i was also wondering the same like surely he'd be trained on the basics such as disarming an attacker? even if it was on pure instinct idk haha

the one major complaint is that the episodes and series feel so short... i need more seasons already even though this one hasn't ended yet bc i can't get enough of watching these two on screen together.

i've been a fan of hajoon and followed him/his works for a number of years. i've always thought that he looks around his own age honestly. already looking forward to the next project he'll take on, i'll miss him now that siren's kiss just ended.
