i swear every important piece of info they've obtained is purely bc they were stalking wooseok or he directly just spoonfed them the information...

this !!! like they're basically waiting for wooseok to spoon feed them the info. didn't look into the surrounding areas of the crime scene. didn't look into the dna samples of suho and junbeom properly. and she also had the nerve to rummage around his apartment when he wasn't home too. i'm also not overlooking how suspicious the chief's wife was too when she'd visit them at the station with food.

i was also thinking that too. like why did he not also look into him considering that he's been her best friend for so long? him and his sister are both so suspicious. same with her bartender friend. they all know too much.

and then there's the whole plot point with the gallery chairwoman and the guy who used to date wooseok's sister before her death. plus her secret vault of paintings that are clearly where the real copies are hidden. really hope we'll get some answers in tomorrow's ep.

eunhyeok and his shady sister aside i still heavily suspect basically everyone else at the gallery tbh haha... esp now that they showed the full extent of what the director did to seola's father. and now the involvement of the guy who dated wooseok's sister at the time of the accident that killed her.

my only other theory is that (due to their flashback convos of her outright saying he should just go and die, etc) seola still feels guilt for how suho ended up how he did and went to such extreme lengths, which led to him hiring that black cap guy who ended up almost killing wooseok and the charity worker informant (most likely other incidents too, this is the only one we pretty much know for sure) and knowing this she confessed out of these feelings of guilt. since we know she has kept info from people before for similar reasons (i.e. the fire from her childhood).

he was already a goner from the first scene in the gallery through that one-sided glass panel...

i suspect he'll appear again even if only in flashbacks to show what happened considering how the ending scene is definitely not what it seems like. i suspect he either impaled himself as a last resort like a "i did all this for you and you still don't love me, i might as well die" while seola held the weapon out only in self defence OR a hidden third party intervened somehow which imo is less likely.

can't wait to find out the truth behind what exactly happened though. i suspect either suho/junbeom impaled himself in a "if i can't have you then this is all for nothing" moment of insanity or a third party intervened and fled the scene before the cops and wooseok arrived.

my suspicions were totally right with the director, plus her link (adoptive mother or some similar figure maybe?) with the bf of wooseok's younger sis who caused the accident. so the photographer and his sister are both definitely not off the hook too. i could totally see the bar owner lady being involved as well.

i really wonder how the best friend stayed untouched/unharmed by suho (especially now his secret lair of keeping tabs on everyone around seola is shown) while being close to her this whole time unless he was confident that it was onesided but i don't know, he totally snapped at the possibility of seola being interested in wooseok too? also the police officer's wife? there's definitely something fishy going on there too with how she was peeking on the case files. looking forward to the next eps !!!!

on an entirely non-plot related note, just had to say that whj been looking extra fine in these episodes haha, like the casual/turtleneck outfits as well as the suits (ofc). i hope he keeps this longer hairstyle too.

i had my hands over my face when seola turned her phone off even AFTER her suspicions were basically proven true like girl please... terrible tv/movie logic 101 when you're alone with a dangerous individual. the acting from both kjh and pmy in ep8 was so good.

my experience while watching the drama is just repeats of the "i've connected the dots" "you didn't connect shit" "i've connected them" meme image throughout

i mean she had some weird fixation on the works done by seola's dad... that surely can't be a coincidence.

also re: the ending of ep6... i wonder how seola knew to show up there, unless he was just hallucinating her. of course it would be right as we (and wooseok) were getting answers... but who else would benefit from that except junbeom? and the volunteer seemed to view them both as two different people so my initial theory about junbeom being the ex who never actually died and just got a load of surgery after the incident to look different doesn't seem to match this? so many questions still...

i knew the scuba gear was shown for a reason, mr photographer is sus as hell... i think he's liked and been obsessed with her since childhood and is keeping her "secret" about starting the fire (since he did appear in flashback scenes there)... and either has confessed and been rejected by her in the past and can't take no for an answer or can't bring himself to for whatever reason (i hate this kind of trope ngl) while eliminating the men around her out of jealousy. his reaction to seeing their lunch date kinda sealed it.

i'm also wondering if this is why the sister has been acting so incredibly unhinged even if i don't fully understand it. maybe she was just driven crazy by how obsessed her brother has been with seola the whole time even if seola literally saved them BOTH in the flashbacks, and helped her get the intern job in present day.

wow what a crazy week of episodes. the acting and tension with hajoon and minyoung is too good. literally everyone around them is suspicious af but i'm definitely leaning more towards the chairwoman and the photographer best friend as the prime suspects now, even if junbeom is also definitely unhinged and creepy.

i didn't even realise it never showed up in ep5 and then when it appeared in ep6 i was like ah yes. it's been too long.

agreed it would be too obvious to make it him. dude is clearly unhinged and creepily obsessed with seola but it seems his full anger is directed towards those who are his "direct competition" i.e. other men so there wouldn't be a strong enough motive for him to take out yunji. unless we have multiple culprits working together or one person pulling the strings (art gallery director lady is still the most suspicious of all to me) which is entirely possible.

she gets a redemption arc?

i think ep5 might be one of the best ones yet for me. i didn't expect them to actually kiss but you know what, hell yeah. i was worrying every time we got a scene with whj in a car (he does the sad, angsty brooding so well though i'm glad he's having his redemption arc by literally putting his life on the line for her)... but i presume that's next episode from the previews.

the bratty younger sister continues to piss me off, same with the coworker dude who's competing with seola. also the detective friend just letting herself into wooseok's apartment and rummaging through his stuff annoyed me too like what's your issue? he helped you out before too. i wanted him to argue/fight back on it more. is she jealous that he's starting to fall for seola?

same with the best friend, i don't quite trust him. i don't know if he's keeping it a secret that he knows that she killed her parents for her sake and waiting to use it against her if she ever rejects him... it's definitely likely he has some kind of unrequited feelings that he hasn't acted on.

my prime suspect behind all the deaths is still the art gallery director lady... she's just so greedy and money-hungry from what i can tell, especially her reaction at the end to finally obtaining the art piece she wanted. i wouldn't be surprised if she's also pulling the strings knowing how 2nd ml is so obsessed with seola. he's so creepy and unsettling every time he appears on screen and i don't doubt that he's wanting to eliminate men he sees as "competition", but it feels way too obvious to have it just be him acting on jealousy without any other underlying motivations (or again if someone is egging him on).

it's like they know he looks fine af when he's going through it (being in a suit and/or covered in blood optional) which is probably why uh... gestures at his history of characters. lmao

he's definitely creepy and unhinged but i don't think he was behind all the deaths, possibly just wanted to threaten/cause accidents etc out of jealousy seeing the men with seola rather than intentional killings.

somehow i feel like the gallery chairwoman is definitely suspicious as hell too and possibly has ties to the house fire. it's clear she has a lot of money and influence based on her basement of artwork and how she influenced that chairman. i'm definitely betting she's pulling the strings behind the background without directly getting her hands dirty. they're the two i'm most wary of so far.
