does anyone know what starfish/long bow symbolises? i'm confused because right after they were in the pool ZJ asked for "the starfish" and she "gave it to him" and she described what it felt like and idk if its just me and my dirty mind,but i can't process any other possibilities (i have never seen a high school cdrama with inappropriate references so i just want to know what y'all think it might be)

you aren't alone!!! I feel like they are more compatible with each other because she sees XB as an older brother/best friend and nothing more and ZJ is a short term relationship/high school fling at best...CJ on the other hand got her interested in math, helps open up her mind to new ideas, they both love literature and they both suffer from parental pressure (i'm sure that more people will ship them if there were more romantic scenes rather than just the advice scenes).

I always thought that there was something weird when JF was revealed to be a red jade guardian, did the SW always plan/know that GZY would become the next SW? because why else would you assign your spare heir the most powerful guardian that half the people think is a myth??

also im still not convinced about GZY's birth because the doctor drew a flower on GSJ's mother's records but that part of the record was torn so there was no way to determine if it was authentic or not

no lmao it was about GSJ's younger sibling and i think he was crying because he put his mother's pregnancy journal on display for everyone to judge and he was probably also reminded about how they died/something that happened to the 2 of them

ikrrrr i was starting to think the little kid on the mountain (pretending to be a child) was his father, lmaoo. besides we still can't trust lady wuji because if she was a normal maid/wife of SW she wouldn't know the same move as the raven so she definitely was in contact with someone from wufeng (or maybe even anonymous)

i hope YWS is shown to be stronger because SGQ seems to be very arrogant and she probably showed of her power to prove her point whereas YWS is (hopefully) more calculating and mature and decided to let SGQ's ego get bigger

I think people like her because for once we get an actual cunning and smart SFL and she has proved to be much more calculating than YWS in multiple instances (unless YWS was pretending to be confused) and she is also pretty ruthless

and in my case i actually do like her character because she is so goal oriented and she is willing to do anything for wufeng (and ngl her and GSJ do make a pretty good couple in terms of visuals and brains)

i think its because she found out after the conversation with lady wujia that there was some misunderstanding about the contents of the medical record or maybe that record was fake ( inorder to bait GSJ ), i feel like she is still holding back A LOT of her power/intellect because she immediately recognized there was something sus with JF and the amount of power he held back. And even if he was illegitimate ig he would still be of gong lineage so it wouldn't hurt his claim to the position of SW

also SQ is a mei so it was definitely a trap when GSJ saved her on the streets and so far she hasn't shown any genuine feelings to anyone other than YWS and her raven

yess and the fact that his identity as the SW is the only way for him to solve his father+brother's murder and protect his loved ones (and maybe even his way of getting back at his bullies who looked down on him).

GZY also seems to feel trapped in the valley especially now that he is the new SW, and even when he was a kid he always talked about traveling so, the outcome i'm predicting is either GSJ becomes SW and he can leave the valley with YWS or Both gong family and wufeng get destroyed and they are no longer restricted by anyone

I don't think its his dad primarily because the tattoo on the back seems like the reason the whole family is in hiding and the reason as to why the sword wielder cannot leave the valley and it might even be the thing wufeng is searching for. Besides there is a lot of resistance about GZY becoming the SW even though they only suspect him of being illegitimate so, i doubt they would allow a person who randomly showed up to become the SW.(besides the whole system of setting an heir since birth/childhood is there so if he did infiltrate he would have to get rid of all of them without arousing suspicion and be capable enough to be trusted by the elders and the other branches)

But i think the theory of his mother being anonymous would be so cool, because maybe just like YWS she was tricked in to thinking she would get freedom if she completed the mission of marrying the SW but she was trapped there instead.
