Just finished watching "Attacking Lady" and wondered why he looked familiar. I remember seeing him in "The Princess and the Werewolf" and thinking he was eye catching. Hope he gets better lead roles.
Disappointed that netz have the ability to tear down and drag an artist over uncorroborated rumors. HJJ is only 25 now and his relationship issue took place when he was 22 or 23. No one was underage and no laws broken. He probably followed his agency's recommendation on how to deal with it, but received backlash anyway. If I remember correctly, in the novel, XZ tells Shen Li that 30% of the ancient gods ran out of power/came to their end and left behind their residual power to circulate back into nature. The remaining 70% tired of their long lives and went against heaven's will, like his friend did by falling in love. The enter the cycle as mortals?.. but their energy/power does not go back to the world.
The divine realm was not always that useless (hypocritical yes, but not as weak and complacent), but after XZ captured and imprisoned those miasma creatures and eliminated the mastermind who created them (during that huge battle where Shen Li's mother gave birth to her), a treaty was put in place with the immortals (in the novel, it's referred to as the demon realm) mostly defending the three realms. That's when Shen Li's master was appointed as the Holy One. The backstory should be disclosed soon.
The marriage was supposed to bond the immortal and divine realm...as there is/was a lot of resentment still between the two.

We often see English names chosen that sound similar to their birth names.. so "Was ton" differs slightly in sound to "Hua Sen". ("Watson" is more common though for an English name)
I hope he gets ML roles soon. Probably AJTL and his upcoming drama with Bai Lu can land him some recognition.…
Looks like that possibly happened with him going from "Moonlight Mystique" to "Shui Long Yin". I like how assertive he is going after his roles and also hope to see him in more lead roles soon.
I've watched Ruipeng in a few of his other productions, but he's really eye catching in Moonlight Mystique. Watching the special live and their bts clips, he's funny and his laugh is super endearing/cute!

I don't have the influence to choose who eventually gets to act in this production, but hope all turns out well without unnecessary fanwars.
