Yes, he is getting a little too possessive and controlling of Tian Jiarui's attention and affection!𤪠I want…
Unsure if you've already seen Lester w/his younger siblings. I think you've managed to share most of his clips on weibo.. (apologies, can only find FB reel link) https://www.facebook.com/reel/632248359016552
It seems people donāt understand the meaning of fiction. The stories are unreal, untrue and invented. You are…
I think most of the disappointed posts are from viewers who expected something similar to or in line with the first "Strong..." prequel, which was also fiction. This version is more campy and over-the-top. It seems most of the complaints are people venting which is fine. I usually just scroll past comments that I don't connect with.
The scriptwriter is the same, but the director and main cast are new. It's just a different show altogether with the only similarities of there being strong female characters with a hot villain thrown in.
If this is the finalized cast, I'm super excited. I like each one of these artists (already a fan of Bailu). Hope all plays out well and they have a great time working together and making new friendships.
Iām starting to think that if little Lester could glue himself to big bro TJR, he would š¤£. Meanwhile, on…
I'm glad Lester has someone he's close with from the previous Journey cast there. I saw photos posted of TJR helping him w/his studies a few days ago on Twitter. Love that Neo, CX, and TJR are watching over him on-set.
I didn't really have much of an opinion of Cheng Xiao before (not negative or positive), but I like how she has sort of a protective, older/senior sister thing with Lester.
Looks like this one will be similar to "The Blood of Youth"..in that it's a youth centered adventure series tied to stories based on "The Classic of Mountain and Seas" text which is a compilation of those types of myths involving demons, monsters, and heroes. It's supposedly an original script, so not too many details are available.
Hoping they don't make romance a big part of it. I like it when there's more focus on friendship and camaraderie...along with good fight scenes.
More than anything though, I hope a certain main lead and/or their fandom will not stir up trouble with black marketing or trying to drag down other hardworking artists. Weibo and other sites have a lot of ugly things spilling over. Hate drama outside of dramas.
Which live was this, can you share a link? Just finished seeing him in Let's Meet Now thought he was very good.
This was from a year ago. The live itself was a little awkward in parts; however, he (Zhou Jun Wei) helped keep it together. I'm going to be sad if they edit his role out of the drama. That was a recent rumor as of a few days ago.
When I say the live was awkward, our main leads, Bai Lu and Zhang Ling He, banter a bit and at one point he says "é å“ bƬzuĒ" (shut up) to her... May not be a big deal to most, but it can be disrespectful to say to a senior/someone older. That pause after, ZJW steps in to move things along.
Literal translation (apologies if it makes your brain hurt..) taken from Baiku - Born out of "The Classic of Mountains and Seas", there is a magnificent legend of "the demon wants to catch the demon". The big demon who wants to die is unwilling to lie down on the road to death and regain a new life. Several young people who meet by chance trace the bloody journey in the world. like. The traditional culture is packaged in the two-dimensional style, with oriental monsters and fairy tales expressed in a light and interesting way, presenting a sense of youth that is both sad and burning, and a fresh treatment of the ultimate love
Why does he seem more closer to CX than CDL? Lol! Heck I wouldnāt be surprised if they did a dancing challenge…
@dhila ahmad, agree. The fanwars are increasingly toxic and for their efforts, I don't think many fans understand the damage they do to their favorites whom they think they're helping.
I usually do not pay attention to black HS/marketing, but when it's repeatedly tied to a particular artist, it makes some of us wonder why and how it came to be that way. As far as CDL's acting goes, she has mastered the look of suffering, sadness, and being a white lotus (just my opinion).

Maybe because Neo & Cheng Xiao are closer in age and have similar interests (former idols that worked w/S Korean agencies and like to dance).. I'm not a fan or anti of hers, but do acknowledge that she is hardworking and we don't hear about her causing issues w/cast members.
