i don't understand the summaryso it's all a game????
The main character, Zhu Yao, is a game designer and being sucked into the video game is only part of the storyline. Once in the game realm it plays out like a typical xianxia drama with elements of a role-playing game (pick/choose an item from their "space", level up, etc.) In the instances where she "dies" or something happens to her internet access, she gets kicked back to reality in the drama.
It somewhat reminds me of the Kenny Kwan Cdrama, "Your Highness".
The more I read the novel, the more I see the drama playing out differently, but incorporating some of the scenes from the book. The male lead/Zhu Yao's master is played with more feeling in the show. Liking both so far and hope it continues to be good.
The drama follows some parts of the novel, so if you read it, you'll have an understanding of some of the scenes you're watching.
In the novel, two of the main characters start off as children, but grow older in the story. In the drama, those two main characters are already grown up. The book is a light read and really funny.
Currently on epi 1. Two main male leads with the same name portrayed by different actors? I haven't seen Adonis Liao yet and wondering if it's a mistake. // whatever, I'm so hungry for noodles now.
Epi 6 and I'm still pausing, cringing, then playing again. why do they make the female characters act so foolish >_< ? // Not sure if they cut her hair or styled her a different way, but Bok Seung Ah looks more polished in this episode.
Episode 5 and I have to keep pausing at the part after the lady boss and other manager just finished eating the bad inari (fried tofu rice ball). can't stop laughing and cringing.
