Don't worry. I don't know how the webtoon goes, but it's abundantly clear that the pair will end up together.…
I am, in fact, part of that signification proportion of the BL viewing population who says, "Ah, yes, angst. It makes my tummy and heart ache but I still love. Canon. A must-have."
I find myself dreading the arrival of the final episodes. If we are served with anything BUT an ending Jiwon and Jungwoo deserve, you'll see me puking my guts out. IF episode 8 proves itself to be botched and unspeakably horrendous, far from how the webtoon closed its first season, I will tell myself that Ball Boy Tactics only had FIVE episodes. It's all fluff and sugar-rush-inducing until they decide to manufacture drama to try and spice things up. I love all things spicy, but I always need something sweet afterwards. This forest ranger is weak against unreasonably high levels of angst with little to no payoff. I will bawl my eyes out for hours on end.
Uh, yeah, that was just my pessimism getting the better of me. The optimistic side of me says, "Jiwon and Jungwoo will be happily loving each other until the end. PERIOD."
This show is groundbreaking in so many ways: the real kisses, the prolonged intimacy, and above all, when Jeong…
Here's to blindly hoping for those gears to STOP. I will not tolerate lazy writing for this amazing cast. But, if what we see in the last two episodes is indeed the machinery at its peak, gosh, I'll have to keep my eyes on the visuals and just forget about the plot. LOL.
I REALLY hope they stick to the manhwa. Even though it’s ongoing (on Lezhin anyway). Either way, I love these…
Manifesting we get that good, happy ending. As it is written, so it shall be done! Jiwon and Jungwoo deserve all the happiness in the world. WE deserve to see them with smiles from ear to ear up to the last second of the finale. I agree with you on your expected ending. That's what would make this whole series a 10/10 for me. God forbid an easily-attached avid K-BL watcher wishes for a satisfying last episode. I've already rewatched all the released episodes at least THRICE. A botched ending will only make me stop at, maybe, episode 5--where it's all just fluff and bliss. Let me enjoy a happiness I may or may not experience in this lifetime.
They're so cute istg awe so much affection, also---HUGS!! I love cuddly couples sm it feels so warm just watching…
I've watched this time and again. This has become too familiar. But I still hope for the best. Their relationship shall become stronger. Jiwon and Jungwoo forever!!!
Here are my honest, unhinged thoughts on episodes 5 and 6:
Episode 5 is the PERFECT sugary sweet fluff you'd want to watch when you need a pick-me-up. I absolutely love every frame from the passionate kisses to the cute, subtle glances. To tell you that I got a sugar rush while watching is an understatement. I felt a gush of energy flow through my veins. MY HANDS WERE FLAILING. I could barely hold in the giddies, and my flabbers were truly gasted. When Jiwon said he wanted time to "think," I already knew the main conflict from a hundred courts away. Argh. I just hate how devastatingly real the cancel culture is in SK. Jiwon's concern is valid, and he's so considerate and thoughtful for that. Given the fact that the stakes aren't as high for him as it is for a rising basketball star, this retired Olympic gymnast knows how the buzz can hurt even the most nonchalant of athletes.
On Episode 6, Jiwon's choice to keep his relationship with Jungwoo a secret reinforced that issue. I felt Jungwoo's frustration. This green forest knows only of a love that must be made known to others. He evidently struggles with keeping his passionate feelings in the dark. Jungwoo loves so openly, I just know he'll burst, especially when he tries so hard to keep it all bottled up. Jiwon spacing out, thinking of all the ways his newfound relationship can go awry, made me think "정신 차려!" out loud. Uri aegi is having trouble staying in the present. He fears the future too much. I am already preparing myself for some angst coming up in the final two episodes. Yeoleobun... how do you think this will end? Will they stick to the manhwa?
I LOVE how Kwon Jungwoo demonstrated ALL five love languages in one episode. This green forest is growing out of control. As a forest ranger, I shall make it my life mission to protect Jungwoo and Jiwon at all costs. Nothing shall come between this lovely couple! Anyone who dares shall go through me first. FIGHT ME!!!
I love this series so much. It has greatly motivated me to excel in my recent exams so I can watch guilt-free! I told myself I won't watch episodes 5 and 6 if I fail even just one quiz. Great news: I got a perfect score on top of passing three others!!! TIME TO WATCH RAAHHHHHH
OH NAUR. This one is tempting me to watch it BEFORE all its episodes are released. I must resist the urge. Or else... I'll have yet another BL series to look forward to twice a week. Huh. That doesn't sound too bad. Eh, whatevs. TIME TO WATCH!!!
여러분, I've submitted Kwak Geon Hee's (Yang Eun Woo) MDL profile for verification. I hope the staff approves it so we can have him added to Ball Boy Tactics' cast.

Just kidding. I haven't found him yet. I shall do y'all some good service if I do find his username. Sharing is caring!
