if anyone has any supportive or encouraging messages for CC u can send it here! I bought the weibo membership…
I appreciate this effort. I'd like for you to include my short message, please and thank you.
"Tian Xuning, we are truly grateful for your hard work in embodying Revenged Love's Chi Cheng. I really can't imagine anyone else playing this role. With that said, I hope for you to continue acting and doing what you enjoy. Let's not dwell on the negative things people may throw at you. We trust your truth. I believe in you. Once again, thank you and I wish you all the best!
Whoever decided on the airing schedule for this drama is sadistic. I can’t even enjoy my weekend because I’m…
Exactly! They have truly turned our life upside down. I cannot believe I'm more excited for Monday than the weekends. Just a little under two more days left. It should fly by without us noticing.
Happy Birthday, our beloved Zi Yu!! Thank you for fighting and persevering to play the role of Wu Suo Wei in Revenged Love. I cannot imagine anyone else bringing this quirky, unique character to life. You have embodied him so well that it makes me think Zi Yu and Suo Wei are the same. Maybe it helped that you share a similar personality with this character. In that case, I am most fond of how bubbly you are. Your optimism, despite all the hardships you've experienced, is contagious. When I see you smile, I cannot help but feel giggly, and I, too, will have a smile from ear to ear. All you've accomplished and gained so far is a testament to your hard work. Your genuine love for providing entertainment, from your early idol days to starring in a captivating BL series, is shown in how happy you look performing. I wish you good health, safety, and more projects to come. Enjoy your day, our Da Bao!!!
It's our dearest Zi Yu's birthday!! Let's wish him all the best, including upcoming projects, good health, safety, and happiness. He has worked tirelessly to bring Revenged Love's Wu Suo Wei to life. May he continue to prosper and enjoy the fruits of his honest, clean labor.
bro they better not ban this drama if they do ima kms man I need all the eps asap
Hi! I know you might just be exaggerating, but I feel compelled to assure you that this series is FAR from getting banned. We will thrive, in a strong chokehold, until all episodes are released. By then, the world shall know of a masterpiece. WE MUST LIVE TO SEE THE DAY!!!
Just saw a video on tiktok discussing the SA in the series and just wanted to share the thoughts I had written…
Another great, long but easy read from Liltsu! May I start by saying that I appreciate you for basically speaking on behalf of a majority of Revenged Love's fans? I agree with a lot of points, and I feel the need to emphasize this: Not all relationships abide by conventional principles the way we see fit. That's the beauty of Chi Cheng and Suo Wei's dynamic. They refuse to fit in any standard because they, themselves, are subconsciously creating their own set of criteria that only they can exhibit exactly. Their unique personalities allow for an equally extraordinary relationship to bloom; their ability to compromise to persevere; and a strong mutual understanding to endure. Remember when Suo Wei said Xiao Shuai was being treated better by Cheng Yu, comparing how Chi Cheng treats his snakes as family? Suo Wei wasn't exactly envious, saying this out of spite. He understands quite well why Chi Cheng prioritizes his snakes. But WSW has yet to realize that CC's priorities are shifting. We can see this when CC was on a call with WSW, refusing to entertain Gang Zi (CC's assistant) who was trying to report bad news about their operation. It could be that the separation is slowly weakening Chi Cheng's attachment with his snakes, BUT more likely, he is growing to love Suo Wei more.
I love your thorough, comprehensive analysis! I enjoyed reading this, especially since a lot of my ideas are similar…
Yes!!! I just realized why a few of the BLs I've watched gave me an ick, or overall didn't have great chemistry between the leads. The imbalanced relationship dynamic frustrates me. When a story pushes or forces a character into a small box, which allows their partner to carry them is just eurgh. There are times when I'd find it cute, seeing a "bottom" look so small (physically, emotionally, and even mentally) compared to their "top", but it can get unsettling fast. I thrive seeing a power couple who can hold themselves, grounded in their principles, and are generally distinct enough to shine on their own. Thus far, Revenged Love is showing us that despite Chi Cheng is a lot more powerful and influential (because of his wealth and personality), Suo Wei's impeccable wit and irresistible presence equalizes them. A POWER COUPLE INDEED!!!
Missing Suo Wei and Chi Cheng a lot more than usual today. I've been keeping busy, so I wouldn't notice how long it takes before the next episode is released. BUT THIS SERIES HAS ME ON A SERIOUSLY TIGHT CHOKEHOLD. Monday should be here sooner.
One important detail about his character is that Wu Suowei is already visibly in a slump, both mentally and physically…
I love your thorough, comprehensive analysis! I enjoyed reading this, especially since a lot of my ideas are similar to what you've shared. I agree with describing the state Suo Wei was in before the break up as a slump. It's apparent that he had lost his spark--something quite common when you're stuck in dull cycle. His story is really inspiring, albeit others might say it's cliche. I think Suo Wei's naturally magnetic charm and aura gives this whole series an energizing impact on its audience. I'm excited to see more of how this character will grow, break, and heal again as the story progresses.
I have zero knowledge on snake breeds but the actor for chi cheng is slaying literally sleeping with a snake on…
His natural chemistry with snakes really makes for the perfect casting. Chai Jidan knew what she was doing when she did her very best to persuade Tian Xu Ning to take the role. And now we have the greatest privilege of watching Chi Cheng come to life.
I have a theory about the white snake and the symbolic meaning of the snakes in the series. ********With spoilers…
We appreciate you for this! I am so proud to be part of this community. We're all here for the lore exploration, breakdowns, and even the emotional tantrums caused by the agonizing wait for the next episodes. WE ARE NOW A FAMILY BONDING OVER A STORY THAT MAKES US FEEL ALIVE AND THRIVING!
🐍 Snakes in Revenged Love: Full Storyline Breakdown 🧑🤝🧑 Characters Involved: • Chi Cheng (CC)…
I love this so much. Thank you for putting this together. I'm happy to read something that reinforces what I already thought was canon. The plot is thickening at an appropriate pace, but since I have little knowledge about snakes, this really helps me understand their value to the story.
Episode 8 feels so much like a sweet and savory victory! I cannot even begin to describe how much I enjoyed watching…
LOVEEEEE
1. The mutual longing. Oh gosh. The gasp that escaped from my lungs when I realized at 3:33. During their call, Chi Cheng pleasuring himself while Suo Wei was scared for his life had me rolling on the floor, laughing and crying. This scene was too good. Chi Cheng is just being himself, showing just how pent up he is being so far away from his Da Bao. Meanwhile, the mastermind thought his schemes had been dished out in the open.
2. Chi Cheng with them loving eyes. The stress relievers had me thinking, "Yup. This one's too far gone. We cannot stop this ship from sailing. I am all here for it!" When Suo Wei was talking about his next business venture, Chi Cheng just couldn't help but stare in AWE AND ADMIRATION. Me too. I love seeing Suo Wei speak passionately of his ideas. I LOVE CHI CHENG LOOKING AT SUO WITH EYES THAT SCREAM, "THIS MAN IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE." This second-generation rich kid investing in his life partner has me feeling so satisfied yet envious. I need my own Chi Cheng!!!
3. SNAKE UPDATE! I mentioned in my comment about Episode 7 the progress with CC's snakes. It seems he is still working on getting them all back, just lowkey. They're coming home to daddy soon. I have to try hard to keep up with all the snake talk.
4. Xiao Shuai chose to SPEAK FACTS, NO CAP!!! His mouth ran like a fax machine, spitting all my thoughts word for word. Yes, teacher, you are so damn right. Your student has fallen for his supposed love rival. He, too, is far gone. We cannot save this child. Instead, I will be happily seated at their wedding.
5. Suo Wei's message to Chi Cheng's mom. That may just be to speed up his plan, but why do I feel Suo Wei is subconsciously already planning to marry Chi Cheng? Anywho... I am so ready to see Yue Yue feel the wrath of a snake daddy. She is so dead.
6. The contrast between Cheng Yu keeping snakes as pets and Chi Cheng, who sees snakes as his children. Suo Wei fully understands how important snakes are to his future hubby. He thinks snakes will always come first, and him second. But, what's this? Chi Cheng was on a call with Suo Wei when his assistant came rushing in to bring bad news about their operation-switcharoo. The way Chi Cheng couldn't care LESS, and isn't even a bit anxious? It's giving a priority shift!
Not gonna lie, I almost fell asleep while typing this. I don't know about y'all, but there's something oddly comforting about Episode 8. Throughout watching, I just felt safe. I did not even feel a tiny bit scared when Suo Wei confronted the men Yue Yue paid to kill Erbao. I knew Chi Cheng would come just in time to save his big baby. I cannot end this comment without pointing out how straightforward Chi Cheng was, airing his frustration and how anxious he was about the idea of Suo Wei getting hurt. That confession was too smooth. It was woven in so naturally. No one can do it quite like Chi Cheng. SUO WEI HAS WON. HE LOOKED LIKE A KID WHO GOT A LOT OF CANDY, SATISFIED TO SEE CHI CHENG CARING FOR HIM.
Episode 8 feels so much like a sweet and savory victory! I cannot even begin to describe how much I enjoyed watching this. A lot of key details are adding up for what the author deems the "turning point," where it gets BETTER. I am, now more than ever, excited for Episode 9!
Lol you're desperately trying not to watch Revenged Love huh? The Spirealm is awesome, while waiting for a proper…
I failed when episode 5 dropped. I felt like a spoiler magnet. My patience ran thin. Now I am in the agonizing cycle of waiting for each episode to drop. LOL! Thanks for answering my question!
