I'd like to think there's at least a slim chance of that probability. But I won't get my hopes up. I'm quite satisfied with how they've included just as much as necessary for the plot's and viewership's sake.
This series is too keen with the little details that I CANNOT even begin to list my top 5 favorites. They're also just so subtle, yet the impact can match the grand gestures. Revenged Love is maximizing the tiniest of building blocks to serve a solid story, with micro-expressions, body language, tone of voice, and line delivery. I live for yearning glances, soft kisses, and gentle caresses. Believe me, I could write up a whole essay thoroughly explaining how these details make the series effectively captivating, but this is me trying to be concise, short, and sweet.

From what I understand about MDL's rating system, ranking #98 is combined popularity and average rating. I cannot find a list where we can see exactly what category Revenged Love is placed within the top 100. But it is safe to say that it's currently the highest ranked ongoing series. Wait a DAMN minute. Why is no one talking about the fight scene with Chi Cheng, Cheng Yu, and the whole gang trying to retrieve the snakes?! It should have a fandom of its own. I am now its founder. Gotta need your suggestions on the fandom name lol
Kidding aside, I felt a different kind of exhilaration watching CC and CGY fight, first the men CC's father hired and then each other. I personally liked how the fight was choreographed to showcase the two frenemies' strength. It did not seem over-the-top, but it had enough action to heighten the scene. When GCY pushed CC, making him climb the side of the truck and perform a backflip to escape, it looked so cool. But, after rewatching the scene, it felt like it was too choreographed. I mean, why was GCY even trying to fight CC? And CC always stopped before giving GCY a direct, strong hit?? My initial theory was that GCY is just showing off. He finds pleasure, or at least enjoys feeling like an action star. It could also be that GCY's motive is out of pure pettiness. He might just want CC to see that he can match his level, having been outshone in the scene with the snake fight. I find this mildly unreasonable, but it did give us an exciting and fierce action montage that exhibited CC's strength, agility, and tolerance of GCY's antics. They are friends after all.
TL;DR
Chi Cheng is one strong, agile, hot snake daddy. I would dare not get in his way. Wu Suo Wei will have no trouble with the gang fights or any threats to his safety, for that matter.

For me, Revenged Love's unusual story has always been about challenging the norm. So, we can't really compare to what we deem as conventional or morally correct. I understand why this may frustrate fans, as I too have felt this way with other series. What makes my reaction to RL vastly different is how it presents itself as unapologetically in its own league. Like, no, I would politely disagree to anyone who may tell me that this story is typical and common. I cannot find, as of writing, any other BL series that can match Revenged Love's freak. Hence, I tried not to focus too much on real life examples to analyze how WSW is acting on his identity crisis. Despite how ridiculous the story may get, it's still somehow grounded with a rational anchor to at the very least maintain a level of credibility. What I mean by this is that a lot of us may love a development that keeps us on the edge of our seats, but I personally cannot tolerate when writers use a plot device out of the blue just for the sake of catalyzing the story, compromising their ability to keep our trust. Seldom do I ever "trust the process" when it comes to continuing a series that might just have bombed itself. That's another topic for discussion. I can get really carried away when analyzing a BL series I am obsessed with.
