Honestly this has become my favourite Korean BL after Secret Relationships, and I’m lifting my rating to a full…
Amen to that! Eloquently said, NLE. I, too, would love to watch this story in at least double the number of episodes. Eight might just be enough, but with the lead actors' amazing, overflowing chemistry, I doubt I'd ever get tired of watching them.
Phenomenal pair of episodes this week, too. I love how the story is making us ride a rollercoaster of emotions. So much happened, deepening our understanding of Il Jo and Jeong Han's dynamic. I have mad respect for Il Jo despite watching him self-deprecate in a few scenes. He has that tendency to short-sell himself when he actually has a lot to offer.
Meanwhile, witnessing Jeong Han get off his high horse is quite satisfying. His gradual realizations and change of attitude really have me feeling more at peace with the eventual endgame. I know Jeong Han will take good care of Il Jo, and vice versa. I'm ready for more fluffy scenes, as much as I am prepared for the upcoming angst. Mind you, I have yet to read the web novel, but something just tells me the build-up to the ending will see us through with how top-tier the first four episodes are.

I guess one of the advantages of being this late to discovering an addicting story is that I won't have to go through the dreadful yearning for a second season. Just knowing it's already been four years and the leads are nowhere remotely encouraging the possibility, I've come to terms that there will never be a sequel. I'll enjoy rewatching this lovely series as it is when I feel blue.
4 years late to the party but HOLY FLUFFBAALLLSSS!!! I enjoyed binge-watching this. Definitely a gem that should be treasured. I won't be gatekeeping this amazing series. If anyone needs a romcom to lift their spirits up, My Love Mix-Up is your best choice!
YUM! From the charismatic visuals to that seductive chemistry between the leads, this is easily one for the books of "Delicious Toxic KBL Dramas". I am eating this up, responsibly.
Am gonna have to rewatch this at least three times to fully charge myself with all that fluff to get through my upcoming hellish week. At least 23 minutes each episode is not exactly enough for a cast with that much chemistry! Watching Hioki and Watarai is such a delight. A few specific scenes have me giggling, kicking my feet in the air, and shrieking out of pure kilig. The next episode sure does look like a whole lot more fun, just about enough motivation for me to get through this week.
one thing about this show is that IT'LL NEVER CONVINCE ME THAT HIOKI IS AVERAGE.... literally F OFF.. he's the…
It's the theory of relativity! I completely agree Hioki Asahi is the cutest little bean to ever exist, but he looks "average" when compared to the "Four Heavenly Kings". I'm not trying to argue btw. Just wanna put this out there that the way the show isn't really putting down Hioki's appearance--rather making him more appealing with how Watarai, the most handsome, behaves toward our cutie pie.
Disappointed. That kiss ruined it all for me as an avid Team Puppy (Gyeon) from the get-go. Taek Gyeon, you were doing so well as that reliable, caring best friend. I was all here for the eventual best friends-to-lovers story. You took advantage of Do Ha's drunken state. There should not be any debate about it. The writers are gonna have to carefully pull some strings if they push for GyeonHa as the endgame.
With a deep sigh, I'm diverting my support to the team leader. Yeon Sang, you'd better keep that steady pace. Although my gut tells me you're bound to mess up, too, I have more faith in you now with that confession during the preview. Barista Ha Ram is the typical charismatic, tall dongsaeng love interest. So far, in my opinion, his chance is a notch below Yeon Sang's.
HOLY FLUFFBALLS!!! I am beyond delighted. I love every single second with both Hioki and Watarai in-frame. The sweetness overload might as well kill me now, but I am super excited for the next episodes! I think, so far, the story's going for that no-nonsense, straightforward Boys Love plotline we know Japanese writers do best. No twists and turns. Just pure, soft, and heartwarming scenes showcasing a budding, innocent, youthful, genuine, and wholesome romance. This is such a fresh break from all the other series I just finished. I will definitely rewatch this a lot once all episodes are released. Asahi, the ray of sunshine you are, your Tsukasa will be a great sunshine protector.
I am devastated, realizing the last two episodes will air next week. It all just became so fluffy. I am surely going to miss our cute pairs. I'm certain episode 11 will bring heightened angst, and then the finale is hopefully a happy ending. I doubt it'll be open-ended, but if they do make that mistake, my headcanon is that this series only has 10 episodes.
I am sobbing. What a rollercoaster! I almost feel like I'm satisfied with Episodes 9 and 10 as the final two. Then again, we still have a major plot line to securely tie. Not gonna lie, I'm still having trouble trying to fully grasp the lore. But, all that goblin shiz aside, I am loving the chemistry and fluff!
I just happened to feel the need to rewatch this for the nth time a few hours ago. I'm glad I got to relive the charm and feel the chemistry again. Semantic Error, you will always be my all-time favorite. I miss my ParkPark couple, my parents!
