I just finished 8 episodes of The Longest Promise. Although they say its an S+ production, it feels like one (big) step down from TTEOTM in terms of aesthetics and details. Maybe because the FL there isn't so established like BL or something. But it certainly didnt pull me into the show as much as I thought. TTEOTM is a feast for the eyes all through.

Yah i agree with Micha Untamed is xianxia. Wuxia is more of motals and action. "Wu" refers to martial arts. Sects are usually "wulin menpai". Whereas in Untamed, the clans are referred as "xian jia" or "xian men". There is less focus on martial arts and more on supernatural/spells.
