Yes i think s3's purpose is just to conclude the story. But then again, s2 didnt really follow up with s1s ending either. Unless there is a very good script, people will not be keen in another round of similar crime solving. Im glad tjc is in the position to pick and choose scripts now. Im fine with or without s3 as long as there are new shows from him.
