Sry but LJS an SHY have some of the worst acting reputation in contrast with Jung Hae In who even though i havent enjoyed so far as most people, i can see what people mean by some of the comments here. Idc about attractiveness since its subjective, my initial comment wasnt even about that even though i might didnt type it in the best way. These 2 i mentioned especially LJS is the epitome of mediocre acting done by a very good looking person, there are tons of articles and critiques pointing him about trying to look cool rather than act, as for PSH same roles her whole career and outdating acting, you can even to her fan pages and see ppl doubting her for obvious reason. If in any world u consider those 2 better actors than kim seon ho or Kim ji won im sry but you have issues, its not about preference its about basic acting skills and passion that they lack.

i enjoyed s4 under pd bang but dropped the show after kim seonho's departure, honestly didnt feel the same.

Thank you for the lengthy comment, so can i do something to appreciate her acting more? Not sure i completely understand the explanation to be honest but i kind of get what ur saying with the subtle acting, maybe im not a fan of that and i prefer wider ranges of emotions, my favorite Korean actors are Kim seon ho and Kim Ji won if that says anything about my taste, some actors i dont like are the leads from Pinoccio although i liked some of their other works, not for their acting though but it was bearable.

if anything CD needed more episodes, many things didnt get proper screentime or enough context.

Very lackluster stories and many times with way too many open plots dropped or barely touched, she always has great first episodes and generally like her dramas, she also started the Kimseonho love train for my brother although she ended up doing him dirty and that drama lol, feel like she needs to put more time into her stories.

i love the cast and the main leads, i wanted to love it, i did at times but felt like something was always missing, maybe needed more episodes? A different epilogue for the abusive father? like why he ended up that way, more stuff about the label company and that whole plot with the SFL? The villagers and the old friends maybe accounting to some more interactions? The famous part of her life and how she handled it, the sfl and what she did as her producer to make her famous, felt lacklaster sry, isnt this from the writers from start-up? that explains a lot to me...

Thanks for expaining what u see and not taking the wrong way like the ppl above i agree that liking an actor is subjective but their skillset is something that should be objectively critiqued, im not an expert nor im trying to be, i even said i watched 3 of her dramas whatever ill list them 1. alchemy of souls 2. because this is my first life. 3. playfull kiss(old drama so im not really judging her on this) and obviously many cameos, i only liked her in one that she played a dead mother but i think she didnt even talk on that. Ill try to watch those 2 you mentioned and hopefully i can see something i havent already cause she for sure knows how to pick dramas lol.

I dont know what im expecting, legit trying to figure out what people see that i dont, there are many actors that are popular and their acting skills aint that great but they are good-looking or they were on a group or something before their acting debut so their fanbase just consume whatever they do. Ill probably watch it as well for Jung Hae In since i enjoy his acting.

I can see and know how sensitive can people get over comments like what i wrote so i tried to tone it down, glad u found it funny (whatever) but again being popular doesnt automatically make u a good actor or vise versa, i dont think im that imporant as a viewer to invalidate her nor do my words hold that much power so i went for it since i dont see it, obviously it all comes down to opinions my favorite actor could be your least favorite and im okay with that, but im asking since im not familiar with her neither her brand and not even her fanbase, there are many examples of actors like what i pictured that are famous but not that good at their acting skills and i think u would be lying if u said they dont exist, i didnt say my opinion is the gospel i just openened a converstation out of curiosity, its not deeper than that and the only reason im typing this much is cause i dont want misunderstandings.

Not trying to be offensive but what is her charm? i don't think she has that good acting skills( i have seen 3 dramas of her, little to no expressions and repititive) nor is she that pretty at least in my eyes(again no offense) but does the majority of ppl see her differently than I do? Some ppl just enjoy simple cute cliche stories, if anything the main leads story other than potato boy dont have the best writing either and since i didnt like the writing nor the characters what do u expect me or whoever to rate this? 7 isnt a bad rating.

I enjoyed everything about the second lead in contrast with the toxic male lead and the side stories were cool to me, i didnt like the end/realistic if it even is realistic message about attraction not making sense and not being needed to.

potato boy leads in castaway diva so i came back since this is the only drama i have seen him and they did him dirty on this one lol

Enjoyment plays a big part on why the show is rated so low, not many ppl like the bad guy winning esp when the loser is a legit good guy and they failed in many more things as well writing wise, obviously hard to pull off anything better when they rushed the webtoon.

i was checking mydramalist and i have rated this 6.5 when my favorite actor is on it lol, was i that disappointed with the plot, i cant remember anything other than the lovestory annoying me, ill just put it to 7.5 cause i love my brother KSH.
