Absolutely loved it and even enjoyed the rewatch. No annoying, messy stuff going on. Just heartwarming moments and love. The ending was done nice and was very touching and still get me emotional on a second watch. For some reason I always thought the FL was going to become a photographer. Since she injured her hand and could not draw anymore, but her photography skills were good from being a fangirl but they didnt pursue that.

I get melodramas but why do they have to do unnecessary break-ups. It just ruins the show imo. The side ML storyline is also not interesting so I recommend skipping those parts like I did. You feel pity for the ML because he never really does anything wrong but everyone is doing things to him with ulterior motives and the one person he trusts dumps him like yesterday's garbage even though he did nothing wrong. The FL does not deserve the ML and you almost wish he found someone else after the unnecessary time skip.

Ohh got you. I mean the more attention something gets, the more criticism it will get. That is just a fact. More people = more opinions. And people tend to not like things that everyone else likes. That's just human nature. And both those shows you mentioned have gotten a lot of criticism. The ratings for Cinderella are terrible

I do not even understand your point...are you saying Queen of tears is not hyped. To me it was a great show, but seems like a lot of people have their gripes about it.

Cinderella at 2 am and Romance In The House have no comparison to queen of tears. Cinderella at 2 am is your most generic story and there is a reason it was only 10 episodes. I enjoyed it but I do not think it was hyped and i think its criticisms were fair. In the case of Queen of Tears, I do not agree with some of the criticisms and think people are hating because other people like it so much. Ratings do not lie and queen of tears ratings were through the roof.

This just goes to show, the more hype a drama gets the more hate it will get. If this show was underrated people would love it but since it is so highly liked, people critique it harder.

Do not get me wrong, i liked a lot of it too. If you can step back and forget about all the plot holes and just enjoy it for entertainment it is good. But, because of how terrible they made the actual story I cannot classify it as a great drama. The ending was so bad that you wish you didnt watch it.

glad i read the reviews and decided to skim through after episode 16. i enjoyed it but was not expecting the ML to get friendzoned and to still stick around. they portray the SML as unlikable and his mom is also mean. It's just sad to see the ML in pain over the FL who does not deserve him at that point. I wish he was able to find love he deserved rather than wait for the FL. it would have been better if they stayed friends and ML found his true love. The ML is a really good, caring person and his interactions to help families were feel good moments. The ML carries the show and it is sad that he disrespects himself by liking a girl with a boyfriend.

overall, the story is different and hence the name my true friend. the whole point is that the FL gets into a relationship with a controlling BF, fantasizing about the niche "childhood moment" that made her fall in love but to realize it was really just a fantasy and reality is different than what it seems. I still do not like it though because the ML deserves better than to sit on the sideline for a FL that has a fiance. FL really is not likable, but she is cute as hell. On that note i completely skipped the scenes with the side characters relationship. that whole storyline is terrible and unnecessary. Makes no sense the rich girl even has interest in the side character.

how can you like a drama where all the episodes are technically filler. the entire thing was a dream? sure you can watch it for entertainment, but if you actually judge the drama objectively, it is bad. Actors were great, but the whole story had no purpose. the entire thing ended up making no sense with so many loopholes.

if you are trying to call this a great drama, you have low standards. if this is a good drama, then you are spitting on real masterpieces.

Great opinion! could not agree more on everything you said. the beginning was good and the premise was good, but then it went downhill and nothing made sense.

completely agree. something you may watch for the actors and the premise was ok, but they dragged it and the story made no sense. i like melodramas but man, this was over the top and most of all was not satisfying.

what did you like about it? the MC gets betrayed in so many ways. cheated on, beaten, used, disrespected and he still forgives the girl and does nothing. he had all the evidence and could have destroyed her but didnt and even protects her from her brother. he uses a the FL who is hurt just as much as him and never reveals the full truth. then you have random car accidents and memory loss? the ex-gf kills her husband and gets to live as CEO for a year happy while the MC lives as a criminal. there was nothing satisfying from the show imo. takes til the last episode for the revenge to happen and it isnt even good.

If you have time to waste, this show is something you can watch because it is different. however, the pacing is incredibly slow. there is really no satisfaction. the characters are made to be unlikable. the ML gets betrayed in so many ways and he acts pathetic for most of the show. dont get me started on the FLs. It is not the actors fault, but the entire show made no sense.

hilarious drama. great romance with the leads loving each other from start to finish.
