Sounds like you went into it wanting to dislike it and ended up disliking it. And hype? this series is 10 years old...Curious why you didnt like the ML. I really felt his character's emotions during the whole series.

I would love to see another series like healer. She showcased such talent in that series from her crying scenes, to her scared scenes, to her acting goofy. She was amazing as usual and I felt her characters emotions.

Park min young has so many hits and she looks so good with short hair in this. she is such a good actor. her emotions in this one from being terrified and crying are just too good. you do not see this kind of emotion in American television or even movies. The ML is also a badass here and you also feel emotional about his pain. This show made me like action romances as opposed to rom coms which always has a triangle relationship, melodramatic break-ups after taking 10/16 episodes to get together, a person obsessed with a childhood crush, etc.

There was no break up in this one. She found out he was lying and did what she should do and was hurt but understood. Even after finding out another truth she didnt let him walk away and chased him even though she was conflicted. You never see this in normal dramas. It was a breath of fresh air.

What a rollercoaster of emotions. The only thing weird is the uncle acting like he has a crush on his niece. That's like babysitting a grade schooler as a high schooler and liking them later on, it doesnt sit right with me.

Great show. the ML is a really caring individual with his own internal struggles. he keeps being misunderstood and he bears all the burden himself without explaining. The rest of the leads are meh, but the ML character really makes the story emotional and you feel for his compassion. A very emotional story. happy ending but the 1 year time skip with no contact in the last episode was unnecessary and melodramatic. like yall cant text? why do these shows always do weird breakups

Nice little short story. each episode is more like 10 min then 15 min due to intro/recap/ending so total time is like 100 minutes. Def worth the watch, just a little feel good story. nothing special though. you wont laugh and wont feel any real emotions. its just a cute little romance story.

No love triangles at all. The ML had a crush on someone for 5 years who was just using him and he gets over it quickly. I wouldnt consider it a real love triangle though since theres no feelings between the SFL and ML.

I was really only interested in the main leads relationship, but the comedy was great. that scene with them blinking code and when kang mi fell to her knees after seeing money was hilarious

This is a good drama. Slow paced, but it was nice seeing an older FL finding love. I didnt really care for the daughters romance, but the show as a whole was entertaining and there was not really anything to hate, except the crime/antagonist part is kind of unnecessary and seems like they just wanted to add a twist/mystery. just a solid watch.

lmaoooo this Ju guy is a joke. Writes a thesis on his opinion (which i did not read) and just because you give him an objective comment he says "not reading all that". I think you hit the nail on the head. All these rom-coms are the same with their "
contractual marriages" and triangle relationships. Just because it is a rom-com does not mean they can do a shitty job and just add all your standard falling and catching scenes, melodrama break-up, etc. I agree with everything you said! There is a reason why most people agree with you

a great watch. you can understand why the characters are sad and distant at the start, but the melodrama takes over and kind of exaggerates it. The love in the story is great nonetheless and there is no ugly triangle. Sure the leads have other people that like them but the leads have no interest in anyone but each other which i love. Park Min Young is so amazing. She had a huge success this year with marry my husband and she is in two of my favorite dramas, "whats wrong with secretary kim" and "her private life".

your standard rom com korean melodrama. has the obligatory doo doo triangle and ceo in a contractual relationship. not really any great moments from the drama that made me feel any sort of emotion. worth the watch for me because im a fan of the leads.

It was ok. premise is funny, but makes no sense that the SML stays in the story until the end and gets some BS redemption smiling and everyone forgives him. How can the ML forgive him when his dad ruined his family and his mom is scarred by it. Not once did the SML show remorse or apologize for his actions. He is a completely despicable in so many ways which they show explicitly. He cheats on the FML with her best friend in episode 1, slaps his wife, will do anything to get what he wants such as evicting the ML from his office and trying to bankrupt ML's company through lawsuits, he says the worst things and all the characters gloss over it. Oh but the ML was pushed to move into the house by his partner for the assignment and felt guilty the whole time and everyone crucifies him. Literally at the end ML is sitting and having lunch with the SML smiling at him when there was not even an apology shown. Makes no sense and makes me regret even watching. I finished after skimming and i wish i never started. The side ML deserved no redemption and if he did get it, he should have paid the price for all his evil actions, but nope everyone just forgives him for no reason.

The one saving grace is that the ML is good. He's a guy that sacrifices himself for others.

There is romance, but its not a romance show. I actually like this better than your normal romantic comedies because you see the ML have multiple girls like him as opposed to 2 guys fighting over the FL. Triangle relationships have gotten on my nerves because you have a FL flirting with two guys toying with their emotions which is just wrong. In this series, the ML is just a nice guy and wants to help everyone and the girls start to like him because he impacted their lives in a positive way. There is no annoying parts regarding romance, except its hard to choose who you personally want ML to be with. They all deserve him lol

This drama was a breath of fresh air. The ML is a complete badass in all aspects. He can fight, is smart, and uses his future knowledge to save those around him. Rarely does a drama have the ML have multiple female interests and seeing the ML get swooned on cause he saved all these girls was great to see. I am getting so irritated with the FL love triangle situation in almost every rom drama.

The scene with his parents confronting the truth and his mom saying dont try to understand, be mad at us was so emotional. they did the flashbacks so well and the actors emotional scenes were so good you could feel their emotions.

One of my favorite dramas. The leads were so good, the story was great and so emotional. I can rewatch this 100 times
