Is 30+ really that OLD?The way some of you refer to Tojo (including Tojo himself) you would think he was a grandpa…
As a middle aged librarian I am offended by this comment! Lol There are a lot of stereotypes about librarians that are completely off-we are a diverse and eclectic mix of people that defy the image of the frumpy quiet person that many people associate with the profession. Just wanted to put that out there. The rest of the comment is lovely.
I don't understand Jaemin at all (and maybe that is a good thing). What is his end game? Da-on likes him and wants to be with but he pushes him away only to do crazy stuff so that Da-on will "be by his side forever"....I mean couldn't he have accomplished that by just accepting Da-on when he confessed to him? Given that Da-on sometimes has a hard time asserting himself and seemed to put Jaemin on a pedestal, I feel like Jaemin could have manipulated and dominated Da-on all he wanted (because that seems to be what he gets off on) if they were in a relationship. I am not saying that is what I want for Da-on, I just don't understand what Jaemin is getting out of rejecting him and then going through all these lengths to make Da-on return to him.
I really enjoyed this but I think it should be more than 10 episodes OR they should just cut it down a bit and focus on one or two aspects of the plot. I think we didn't need the whole drama with the mother--I would be interested in seeing more about the parallel universes. Also , I'd be interested in seing more about Wim and Jin. It was a bit of a rushed ending in my opinion.
What was the point of Jaemin having that guy undress and take pictures of Da-on? I didn't get his explanation at all. What was the purpose of the pictures??
It was an average experience for me, i can no longer trust the site's high ratings.
You are absolutely right— you can only trust your own judgement because everyone has different opinions. I thought this drama was fabulous but I’m not surprised to hear that others found it average or didn’t like it because I have watched things that people rave about that I didn’t like at all and vice versa.
I am so confused...why did Cang Xuan spread the rumours about Xiao Yao not being Haoling's daughter? How is this protecting her? What does it matter if her last name is Xiyan or Xiling? I feel like I am missing the significance of some of the details. Also I see in the comments that people are talking about battle scenes. What did I miss???? Is everyone able to access episodes after epsiode 11. I am watching on Viki and I can only watch up to 11. Can someone put me out of misery and explain what I am missing?
I watched this a while ago back in 2015 and I really liked it a lot. I just started watching it again and while I find aspects of it enjoyable I am kind of put off by how the ML is placed on this pedastal and is portrayed as being intellegent and rational and the FL is made to be stupid and airheaded. The ML often says things that puts FL down and that bothers me. And while I think this drama is meant to show that love can overcome differences in personality and situation it kind of creates this narrative that the FL is less than the ML in terms of intellect, social station, and financial standing and is incredibly lucky to be accepted by the ML. I definitely don't love this as much as I did eight years ago.
Am I the only one who didn't understand the last episode?? If someone could explain to me what the heck was going on in episode 17 I would really appreciate it. I just don't get it...
so this series started off with such promise but declined because the plot was so basic and over-drawn out. It…
I have been bored with this show and am only watching it on fast forward so I get and agree with some of your criticisms. But gosh, I think that the actor who plays the ex-boyfriend is beautiful! Just goes to show you that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder!
What order should I watch "I love you as a man "and "like love"?
The title I Love You as a Man and Like love are used interchangeably I think or are alternative titles. I sometimes see this drama referred to as Like Love and sometimes as I Love You As a Man. The drama on this page, which was released in 2014 , is the first part of the series. The second part, sometimes referred to as Like Love 2, I Love You As a Man 2, or even Like Love: Nobody Knows But Me is the second part of the series and was released in 2015: https://kisskh.at/14310-i-love-you-as-a-man-part-2.
I need to know, does it have a good ending? And where can I watch it?
This does have a good ending. There is also a part 2, or season 2 to this series: https://kisskh.at/14310-i-love-you-as-a-man-part-2. Part 2 ends on a bit of a cliffhanger or unresolved conflict and there was supposed to be a season 3 but China banned depictions of homosexuality in TV, which killed shows like this one and also others like Addicted and Counterattack. So if you are trying to watch both parts, ultimately the show ends in an unsatisfying way because they were not able to do the planned Part 3. Even so, i would still recommend you watch this! As to where to watch it, you can watch it here: https://allforbiddenthings.wordpress.com/like-love-movie-english-subs-uncut/
I think I enjoyed this but I got tired of the back and forth--the story just got a bit repetitive after awhile. I definitely kept watching because I was interested in the neighbor couple with the older wife and younger husband.
This drama is a remake of a Thai Movie. I can't speak for Thai people, but as a Chinese person, the beauty standard…
I wish we could work to challenge that preference. Many societies and cultures show a preference towards lighter skin, smaller body types, and straight hair and this has damaging effects to those who do not fit these characteristics. I wish we had dramas with more diverse representations of women without the troupe of the larger girl who becomes skinny to get the guy or the girl who straightens her hair and takes off her glasses and suddenly gets attention.
If you are interested in watching the Second Season you can watch it here in two parts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7VQ-Hydip4&list=PLJ8z6adG7ptQQ-V7En508Wx0r4i-CWlIP&index=19
