absolutely love how he embraces every character and how he acts, especially with so much emotion in his eyes <3 i'm glad he found a passion for being in front of the camera
searched up a few clips off youtube because i've been hearing about how terrible this drama is...and wow the comments are right. their acting is bad to the point i feel like they're reciting straight from the script and they look like pieces of wood.
are the leads voices dubbed? wanted to know before i start watching! EDIT: i found out through a recent gongjun interview that his role is actually dubbed lol
wondering if anyone can help me clarify something - currently on ep 15 and it seems like every time zzs and wkx have an argument they end up being friendly when they run into each other again? am i missing something or are they just not great at confrontation/conflict resolution hahaha
i'm loving their chemistry so far! but i'm not too sure how the plot is gonna pan out tbh...how do romcoms usually fill their episodes without action like thrillers do? is it just drawn out tension? i can't see them getting back together needing more than 4 more episodes at most
just finished the show - i was expecting the gf and her boss at the workplace to have a bigger role since they got a lot of screen time for no reason, anyone know why?
i also didn't really get junho's plot line. it was creative to include a pov from the "villain"'s side but it was dragged out only for us to find out about the vips and that was it? we don't get to know why or how the game staff are there, nor why his brother was there, nor any backstory on squid game other than it existed for many years. then they just k-worded him for what???
am i the only one who found the vips really cringey? like whoever wrote the lines for those scenes decided to make it as cheesy yet uncomfortable as possible. maybe that was the point, but the english felt unneccesary and the acting only made it worse...
ldh's role here was his best so far in my opinion, he did so well with microexpressions. i'm upset...what even is the point? they deviated from the webtoon anyways so they should've just kept going with a plot, but now they're replacing most of the cast?
coming back to this a few months after watching and <33 the concept of each card meaning a different type of game is just so genius. its creative and makes so much sense. looking forward to season 2!
EDIT: i found out through a recent gongjun interview that his role is actually dubbed lol
