i'm a little more than halfway through the drama and i have to say shen yurong's actor is so impressive! the way his microexpressions convey so much yet you can literally feel his repression through the screen really adds to the moral greyness/ambiguity
pushed myself through the first few eps but that LAST EPISODE? as a psych thriller enthusiast that was perfect and a great change of tone. i am so incredibly blown away, both by the storyline and cinematography!!! it's all worth it just for the finale
only on ep 6 but the pacing of this drama is so refreshing! i appreciate the slow burn since so many cdramas make interactions between main leads romantic immediately, but here they really are getting to know and admire each other first

so so happy after 3 years of waiting that ep 1 and 2 lived up to and beyond my expectations! glad all of us who waited can finally watch :) loving the pacing so far and willingness to communicate at least between our leads, pretty mature and different from other cdramas i've watched
