isn't anyone bothered by the main characters relationship dynamic like I know they aren't related but it just…
I keep hearing how good this is and cannot comprehend the idea that this many people are comfortable with this. I am disgusted by the dynamic as well as the age gap (especially an adult having met a child and raised him like a brother!!) but people brush it off because it is gay lmao.
the whole premise of the show is how their family dynamics change and grow over time as they grow older. Qian…
Did the adult meet him as a child? If so, that is very weird. I know he did not like him as a child, but knowing someone as a child and then falling in love with them as an adult sounds immoral.
The show may be very meaningful and deep, but I am going to have to skip this one if it is the case that the older one met the younger one when he was a child.
Thank you for your explanation and insight however.
happy ending but not really, it depends on how you view it.
Essentially the video game that the main character is in isn’t actually a video game. More like purgatory and he does not know that he has died. When he was alive he never found any type of love. It’s a story about being happy and finding that love on the after life, but once again, it’s not entirely the reality since he is already dead. It is a cute show, but it depends on how you view his form of finding love that makes it happy or not.
This site has lost its relevance just like Rotten Tomatoes. The 8.8/10 rating is the highest for a bl I've ever…
sometimes ppl enjoy silly fun shows that suddenly have a deeper meaning than angsty realistic ones lol, they're much more comforting. the show was short and did not drag on unnecessary scenes, nor was it ever boring.
-the eighth sense made me fall asleep -last twilight had the worst possible ending -i told sunset about you was a well told realistic story, but is now trash because of that second season
worst comment section I have ever seen. y'all just drop the show and move on. it's def not for everyone.
the double standards are notable though.
as someone who has seen several BLs that were probably worse than 23.5 (it's not even bad it's just unserious and wholesome), I've never seen this many people talking about how they are allowed to have opinions or what not.
people r being defensive bc gay men are viewed in a better light than gay women (because they are women), and that's understandable but only if there is evident prejudice in someone's comment. if someone says the show is bad, they are not saying that being lesbian is bad. so there's that.
however, many people may also be making straight up hateful comments bc they r lesbophobic (especially gay men fetishizers lol, pls delete yourself if you see something wrong with lesbians but nothing wrong with gay men). there's a difference between criticizing and being a hateful ass mf.
it ain't that serious y'all, let us enjoyers enjoy this show, just like you non-enjoyers enjoy your shows.
on a happier note, i am loving the silliness so far.
While I don’t think this is necessarily great, it’s better than a lot of BLs y’all be praising.
It’s cute, light-hearted, and weird. Nothing wrong with shallowness and lack of meaning. Not a show you need to pay attention to while watching, but that does not mean it is bad.
