Why should fluke deserve to die? Why should he has to stand up for non? To get himself bullied next time?Do u…
you cannot "let yourself" get bullied. as i stated, non tried to overcome them and could not.
no one deserves to be taken advantage of. you cannot be your own perpetrator, it's like saying "well she asked for it" which is disgusting.
i don't understand why you are attempting to justify the bullies to justify fluke, and place blame on the victim. non was a victim, even if you don't think he was the greatest person, it is a fact that he was a victim.

You created a scenario in which fluke and non switched roles, and I believe non would not have stayed quiet if he knew the things fluke has known. Non tried to stand up for himself MULTIPLE times, but was overpowered by the friend group (even more so because he was an outsider).
Non cannot be a bystander to himself. Fluke is definitely one, by not doing anything he was an immediately an enabler. I never stated he was a bully, I am stating that he deserved the same fate as the bullies however. Until the very end, he never took responsibility for anything that he saw (which is why he impaled his eyes, the show highlights how standing by and overlooking is not a good thing, it is within human nature to want to help when it is possible. fluke had none of those attributes and lacked a significant amount of empathy yet wanted to be a doctor?)
Again, I never stated he was a bully, but those who stand by and watch are just as bad as the perpetrators (in most cases, which applies here).
wanted to share my review for the first episode on here!
While I am appreciative and excited to see more sapphic media, this was not the greatest start.
It is supposed to be lighthearted and funny, but there were scenes that felt out of place. I was also confused and a little bored at times. It reminded me of how I felt when I watched Enchante (this is a completely different genre and story, but I'm sure most can agree that Enchante was a snooze fest).
Not the greatest first episode, but not the worst either.
I want to note the comparisons that people are making between 23.5 and My School President. Though they are both cute silly high school love stories, MSP had the musical element with the characters singing a new song every episode. Such addition to the show made the dramatic and over the top acting more bearable and understandable, as it felt theatrical. (though there is also a double standard of course; a large portion of BL fans are fetishizers of gay men).
23.5 does not have that, and so the comedy may feel like too much (especially when gmmtv has been moving away from that recently). I think it's bearable at times, but I can understand why people are not fond of it.
Once again, of course we should appreciate, but critiques will give us more sapphic shows of greater quality (and not any terrible ones like GAP).
Overall, I loved the cute little interactions between the leads and I am excited to learn more about Aylin and her alien agenda. I will keep tuning in as I have been waiting for it since it was announced.

it's not about standing up for non, fluke constantly says he is not involved in any of it and that he knows nothing (even though he quite literally knows everything, on top of that, he literally wanted por dead when he was going to speak the truth to white, so in reality if fluke was not guilty, he would have had no problem with por confessing).
he takes no responsibility for having the knowledge. it is evident that he knows how wrong everything is, yet does nothing about it and gives a blind eye.
and yes, i do think non would have spoken up if it were fluke who were in that situation.
y'all r trippin, everyone deserved to die except white and the uncle.
fluke, although he did not do anything, was one of the worst people: a bystander. Jin was an advocate and a bystander at the same time, which was annoying (he was also cause to the biggest issue that surrounded non, the video). the rest of them were just assholes that got non into an inescapable predicament.
and yes, non was a victim of the teacher as well as a victim of tee. just because you make bad choices does not mean you deserve to be taken advantage of. there are so many things that most of the characters should have/should not have done.
new felt guilty for not being a decent brother and decided to take revenge, and that revenge grew more after the friends were an indirect cause to the death of his parents. new is understandable, he was fueled by hatred, for himself, and for those who caused the demise of his entire family.
and no it was not necessarily new who killed white, they all hurt themselves, they would not have hurt themselves if they were not subconsciously guilty.
only thing I did not understand about new was him killing the uncle, other than that his character was valid for the most part.
so yes, they did all deserve to die and I am glad no one got a happy ending.
Just say you don’t understand what a victim is lol
You cannot compare being taken advantage of to just be a decent human being. I'm sure a 15 year old can understand that there are consequences to their actions, however, that is not the case with Non, as he was taken advantage of in horrendous ways.
Just say you don’t understand what a victim is lol
Even if it was "legal" (which it is not) it is still not okay with the power dynamics. Teachers having sex with their significantly younger (as well as in general) students is revolting, and the teacher is fully responsible because they are in a position of power.
Just say you don’t understand what a victim is lol
I am sorry for your experience . Please know that this is not an opinion, it is a criminal offense for an adult to have sex with a minor in the country of Thailand, even if consent was given. It is a law that consent given from minors to adults is invalid because they are minors.
Just say you don’t understand what a victim is lol
Please search what statutory rape is. Non is a minor, sex with an adult, especially with the power dynamics at hand, is considered rape in the country of Thailand as well as many other countries. Even if consent is given, it is LEGALLY invalid because he is a minor. This is not an opinion, it is a law.
Just say you don’t understand what a victim is lol
He did not cheat, he was a victim of statutory rape. He was also a victim of Tee with the opening of fake accounts, which Non would have never felt the need to resort to if Top and Tee had not blamed him for the camera. Tee also encouraged him for his own benefit. Non did make bad decisions, but he did not deserve to be taken advantage of. You are basically saying he “asked for it” which is disgusting.
