Perfection from start to finish. It’s been a while since I’ve added a kdrama to my favorites list and this definitely made the list. The OST is the best. Such a wholesome drama and cast. So sad today is the last episode. A perfect ending. I was so worried that it was going to be rushed (like most kdramas nowadays) but it couldn’t be more perfect. 10/10❤️
This started out so well, it had everything to be the drama of the year or at least a very good drama. The plot, the actors, the production. But wtf is this writing? I don’t understand why they have prioritized the villains plot over the marriage. And that ending? so unnecessary at 15 episode with so many things still unresolved. Just adding drama for the sake of it. I’m disappointed:(
Do they have to suffer so much? there is no episode with the main leads just having a good time. How is it that we have 14 chapters with the villains having everything going well? I’ve never seen such a delusional villain like Eun Seong. Scared for a rushed ending, because honestly they have dragged the side plots too much.
But KSH AND KJW are carrying this show so well. The pairing we didn’t know we needed.
Am I watching a different version of the drama than everyone here?? because I just don’t understand how Do han isn’t being called selfish, and Ji han and Na Ah Jung are the selfish ones. But I do like that he wanted to come clean at the end. And while I do like the character development of Ji han, he has really grown from the first episodes. I would’ve liked for Do han to step up, not Ji han. I love that they didn’t do the whole classic 2fl character, it’s refreshing.
I put off watching this week episodes when they dropped because of all the negativity here, but honestly it isn’t that bad. I still feel the love between the leads, and it’s obvious that it was going to be messy toward the ending. I still consider this a good watch.
i’m loving this pairing and the plot. But that 2ML is so unnecessary. There’s already so much to unpack in their relationship without an external ml influencing. And he gives serial killer vibes lol.
But i’m loving the acting and their chemistry. And I’m so glad that they’re also including comedy in the dark themes.
This is so so good!!!! I’m anxiously waiting for the next episode. The characters, the acting, the chemistry, the plot are 10/10, at least until now. I’m loving seeing their relationship develop, and how mature and green flags they both are. The communication between them is great. I’ve been waiting for this one for a while, so I’m happy that it’s delivering. Hopefully it keeps up.
I don’t know if it’s because it’s Tay and New, but I find so cute every interaction between Karan and Achi. And I’ve seen a lot of comments not liking the second couple, but personally I really like them too. I usually find characters like Jinta annoying, but it fits him. I can’t imagine him being serious. I’m really liking this series so far, for me this deserves a higher rating, at least 8.5. But that cliffhanger today tho??? how am I supposed to wait till next week🙃
I really liked this, the acting, the chemistry and the plot was amazing. They had me giggling and jumping from their interactions. Cha Yeo Woon change of attitude with Tae Myung Ha is chef’s kiss. But honestly I got lost in the whole game thing, the messages and the rules, I didn’t understand it. And I felt they wasted a lot of the potential of the secondary characters. What was the point of that love triangle? For me it’s wasted screen time that could’ve been better used in the main characters. Or at least it would’ve been better to use them as a secondary couple.
That being said, it was a solid start of 2024 from Kbl’s. I honestly haven’t watched one in a while that I can say is really good. This set the standard, so I hope 2024 surprises us with good Kbl’s. Overall rating 8/10.
This could’ve been so much better if they’d eliminated the whole mom issue and the engagement fiasco. It was so unnecessary. And the mom not getting one single repercussion for meddling in Win’s life got me so freaking mad. I didn’t like how they portrayed the females in this series, I honestly couldn’t stand them.
That being said, I don’t think it’s as bad as people reviewed it here. If you eliminate the points that I made above, it was a good watch. I finished it in less than two days. I laughed a lot and the acting is amazing. Mix did such an exceptional job here. And the body swapping is done well. I feel this series is the best one that portrays Earth’s and Mix’s chemistry. Even though ‘A Tale of Thousand Stars’ and ‘Moonlight Chicken’ are better plot wise.
I’m only on chapter 4 and this is so so good, I haven’t been this invested in a kdrama in a long time. Happy to see Park Min get the recognition she deserves, she’s a great actress.
So I rated this 10/10 at episode 5 (if I remember correctly) and honestly even though the last two episodes weren’t my favorites, I will still keep my rating because everything else was just perfect. One of my worries when they broke up was that the end was going to be rushed so I was kind of prepared for that. But that being said, I didn’t really like how Mhok was to ‘blame’ for the breakup. I never felt that he had pity for Day, I felt that he was anxiously worried for him. And even though I didn’t like the breakup (I don’t like the breakup trope in series when they’re rushed, the first option when problem arises is always to break up), I get that they were too dependent on each other and needed space to be able to accomplish and find themselves. But I wish that instead of agreeing to what Day said, he would have explained his side that we never got to hear in the breakup scene.
On another note, I don’t feel like Day getting his sight back takes away the message of this series. Like yeah, not every blind person gets their sight back, but it can happen. He lived for 5 years without sight and learned to live like that, but if he has the opportunity to recover his eye sight, shouldn’t he take it?
I feel empty now that this ended, it was my motivation for Fridays. Hopefully we’ll get another JimmyxSea series in Gmmtv pt. 2. Their acting and their chemistry are so so amazing. They definitely did become one of my favorites. This series has marked a special place out of the countless series I’ve watched. This deserves more recognition, it was really a masterpiece.
So this is the first k-drama I’ve been able to binge watch in months (I’ve been in a kdrama slump). It had amazing actors (Shin Hye Sun is my favorite actress so I might be a little biased), great story, good ost and production. I really enjoyed watching this. But that being said, I can’t give this a 10/10, probably an 8/10. It got to a point where the plot dragged a bit too much, and I couldn’t stand Yong Pil’s dad and Boo Sang Do. I wished these issues would be resolved a little bit sooner. And I also found annoying the amount of screen time the hanyoel’s conversations had, too much filler time that could’ve been used to develop the sister’s stories better. I found them really interesting, they should’ve been main characters too. I wanted to see more of dolphin guy and Cho Hae Dal. And I wished we could’ve seen more of Cho Sam Dal and Cho Yong Pil present relationship.
But honestly I would still recommend watching this. The story is great and you get attached to the characters, they portrayed them really well. And a really great romance, I really liked this pairing.
This could have been great and amazing, it had the concept and the actors for it, but it was just okay. I feel like they did a combination of goblin, my roommate is a gumiho and doom at your service. And 16 episodes is too long, 12-14 episodes would have made this so much better.
Overall rating 7.5, the concept was good, the acting 10/10, the visuals and the ost too. And I liked their relationship too, we got to see a lot of their sweet moments and they delivered really well on that part. But the plot dragged on too much and there were too much unnecessary scenes, and so many repetitive flashbacks of previous scenes. But still a good watch if you fast forward a bit in the last chapters.
