So GJM has an agency and he is contracted with him and not getting casted in any main lead roles. I always wondered why he is in so many GJM productions and rarely gets casted outside and why he had a long hiatus. :( I am really fond of his acting. I just discovered him this year and now a lot of his works got un my watchlist. But i must admit GJM has a good eye for talent. I really enjoy watching the acting of some of his regular casts. Also TJR is obviously his fav.

Well since cdramas always always come with 30-40 episodes it will pay off in the end to have a lot of side plots and a huge pile of characters. :) i am happy we endured it. Happy watching :)
Wow first time iqiyi got me to watch 3 airing shows simutaneously. To be honest i struggeled the first 6 episodes to get into the drama. It felt very fast paced, many different costumes (i swear deng wei looked different every few seconds when my eyes blinked), cuts between past and present. I got confused that i had to read the synopsis again and again. :D I looooove Xianxia so i am very enduring when i like the production and cast. Mostly i would have dropped the drama but my love for a high production Xianxia is stronger.
I am glad that i endured episodes 7 & 8 made me grow roots. :) The interactions between Deng wei and Xiang han thi are too cute following episode 7 onwards. To me Xiang Han Zhi is very charming and loved to see her acting the diffference between ran ran and MQG. Never seen any of her dramas before. Maybe its just me who struggeled through the first 6 episodes. But to all who gave up to soon for not getting into the story. Try again its worth it. I like the production value of the sets and costumes ( i mean we already got to see so many just in a few episodes).
I already rewatched the first 4 episodes because the wait is killing me. When you are usually used to chinese dramas airing shedules and suddenly watch a korean drama in between this is torture. :D Its so addicting and funny. Uplifting and comforting. Why has it only 10 episodes? Would not say no to 10 more. But we will have to wait at least over a year for season 2....

You are right. i thought about it and at first i thought the judge panel should adress it and not the production team by labeling trainee interviews. But in the end its the production teams of previous seasons who manipulated the votings, did evil editing and pushed trainees that were not ready yet but eye candy. But i have to wait how they dissolve this in the next episode. I just found out that Omar even though he is tall he is just 15 years old (still growing). His performance was not my favourite from the team (i liked Sichen most) but as you mentioned he has the IT factor, stage presence and a lot potential. Wether he gets A or B at the introduction stage does not matter to me. I just want to enjoy the show without drama :) Hope he is able to show himself at the next stages more. :)
Wow i got tired of idol survival shows lately. I could not watch Starlight Boys to the end (the editing, cruel challenges and voting system just made my angry) and i tried project 7 and just couldnt connect. Even though i had trainees i wanted to cheer for on both shows.
Watching the first episode of chuang asia came as a welcome surprise. its wholesome (if you cut out the cliffhanger to next weeks episode) Everybody is cheering. And i see a lot of potential. Skilled trainees that would be ready to debut, have fun on stage and different unique characters and voices that can tribute their special talent to a new team. Its refreshing and it makes me want to watch more and get to know all of the trainees. The judges all give serious feedback. (even so the female judges are all heart eyes and the male judges (Minghao, Bam Bam and Jeff) are dead serious about artistry).
If u got a little tired of idol survival shows like me you wont regret watching the first episode (its free and subbed on the WeTV webside linked above). I cant say much about the voting system yet and if its fair or not ( everybody can vote with a WeTV account and if u got vip or watch ads u get more votes per day) . The editing of the first episode obviously highlighted a few trainees the viewers should keep their eyes on and somehow the influencing worked on me. :D It could have been nearly perfect but unfortunatly the segment at the end of ep 1 (cliffhanger) and questioning wether trainee Omar deseves A or B for his performance associating all the labels an unfair score could cause, goes in the wrong direction for me. A trailer of next weeks performances, signal song and center battle just could have done the magic.
Wow this is refreshing. I love material arts/ fighting rank/ action youth dramas which are not romance focused. I couldnt imagine Hwang Min Hyun in the role of Yun Ga Min at first but after watching the first 4 episodes i have to say. Its very well casted. I dropped "My lovely liar" since it just was not for me. But Hwang Min Hyun is killing it here. Its so fun to watch him fight and his dialogs are just hilarious. If anyone had half the determination as he has one would be invincible. Fighting is his second nature. Unbelieveable that he had time to become that skilled even though studying is his life purpose? The choreographie always holds high tension and keeps you exited what moves come next. :) I am always laughing and giggleing. Its good balanced humor, action and story telling. Love the camera work. And the "study group" has charming characters. Cant wait for next week. :) Who is the uncle u all?.... i want to know ... argh ...

If u dont have a mangoTV account and watching on youtube.: They post the new episodes without sub on mondays and the sub (English) is released on the following wednesday (sometimes even earlier and some episodes wont get subbed at all for an unknown reason).
