Oh no the last video got copyright striked. I were not able to watch it.
Watched the other 3 again. I always get distracked... all the emotional kissing, pain distorted faces, staring into each others eyes. And the question that came to my mind.:
Why is the drama called "Moonlight Mistique"? Lots of purple moons in the MVs but what does it mean?
Is it just because Fan yue is the lord of the Bright Moon palace? Any other meaning?
Of course its the metaphor in moon/stars in at least 3 songs:
- Love without regrets 爱不悔 (Jing long)
this song describes their love story at best, so tragic and emotional, JL voice was a good choice. Both willing to sacriface themselves for the other
- Under the moon 月下 (Bu Chi)
- Embrace and never let go 相拥不放 (Zhou shen)
Well i know thats the official theme song but i just feel more with "love without regrets" since its always played when our couple show their love for each other. :)

Wahhhh i finally catched up today 19/40 done. :D But i really cant catch up with all the comments in the comment section. Help :D

Both episodes were awesome but i find myself just staring at AR :D i think i would get all hidden references/and hints if i could concentrate. :D he is so stunning.

Well back to the topic.
I think LBFAD was my first ever xianxia and the 3rd cdrama i wacthed after "falling into your smile" and "go ahead". The love for demon lords was born back then :D so i totally get you. And ZLH visuals in a fantasy costume sure left a deep impression. I somehow rooted for him. ;)

Yeah Tan jian ci lives for the stage and in the moment. He would deliver and accidentally become team captain like on "Shine" super brothers. He was the one who wo always got voted captain. So sad this music show had a cringe editing (they changed that in season two). But the stages were great. Even though it has no english subtitles on youtube, its still worth it to see jian ci shining.

I have not been that immersed in LBFAD like i am know in all Bai Lu dramas recently. But i get what you mean. If you are into it, you can keep that feeling troughout your day just listening to the OST. Same goes for me.

Yeah i like the intro song too. :) its beautyful and meaningful.

But hearing Bai lu and AR singing so calmly harmonizing together, i never expected that. :)

Yes back to MM ;) I have to admit, that i havent watched the 18th episode yet so i am not up to date ;) Well its a Xianxia. Its a circle of life dying, being reborn, getting redmtion in a different life time. What exactly makes u anxious?

Its on my watch list. havent seen it yet but i will. Even though i am a big fan of an actor/acress its sometimes difficult for me to watch certain genres just to watch everything they starred in. ;) since one and only is labeled as "political" i had some hesitations but i got more open to it now. I will def try this year since i heard a lot of good about it. Thank u for ur recommendation. :)
