Enough of her. She's the same in every single drama I've watched her in. After Encounter, I thought I'd give her…
she should take more project like Full House, World Within, DOS, My brilliant life where she could play with her expression. I feel bad she keep getting project like she did years ago, Autumn in my heart. ugghh, I hate her character in that drama (cried in every episodes). I only started to like her when she played Full House.

Title I Hear You
why the ML and FL talking and walking really really slow ? This show is bearable watching in 2x speed. there's no way real life people talking that slow. and the whole show could have been finished in 10 episodes. cause pretty much nothing happened in most of episodes.

I have a questions, I wanted to watch japanese romance drama which is not potrayed in high school. Then I decided…
Coffee and Vanilla is from popular smut manga in Japan (which also raise important question, why Japanese women can tolerate the stupidity of FL and make this manga so damn popular, inspiring any human being to make live action upon it).
I also has so much problem with how women characterized in Jdrama. I watched this Cursed in Love that have good premise and seemed to offer strong FL who ready to avenge her mother death, only to saw her drop everything and forgive everyone cause she fell in love with ML. where all the badass women from 90's Jdrama ? I remember watching Suzu Aisawa in Ienakiko where she survived attempted murders from her family and classmates, death of her first love, betrayed by her second love, and again death of her third love, and she still survived and moved her life on.
I want to recommend you something, but I also has yet to find where FL can act like normal human being.

if you can bear pretty dumb FL and looking for some 50 shades of grey japan style, then try this. I give rating 1/10 cause I care about society and I very much determine to discourage any producer to create drama like this. Society deserves better.

I mean.. there’s girls that want him.. but there’s like no misunderstandings.. this is probably the best relationship…
his maid ? I think she admire him but not to extent she thinks she would have a chance pursuing him.

* Spoilers below *Wow. I did not expect this! So much better than I thought! I read that they changed directors…
I just read your comment and I could not been agreed more. especially on chemistry of character. People mostly expect their chemistry to be more, but I found it's suit their character.

At ep 7 now...does this get any better? I can't keep my focus on this drama, it is so boring
if you expect this to be 80% romance, then it won't get any better. It's more on palace politics. Romance ? not so much. try LLTG if you want more grounded story.

I put it on hold for some time, but now I've finished and I'm clear of some of the flaws that makes this drama…
on casting side, yes it is started to feel weird after Bai Fenxi identity revealed. No offense with ZL, but she just still not have this strong persona as Queen. Probably because of her voice. She could work more on expression, but as of now, her facial expression is too cute. I still like it when they they are just Bai-Hei Fenxi, their dynamics more suitable for them.

For everyone coming here from Love Like The Galaxy and expect it to be at least the same (like me, lol), then…
my personal impression of the drama:
1.Lord of Yongzhao is stupid. Period. He seems all about bringing "peace" in his house, but he's truly man without any plan. I hate 3rd prince, but he's the only character that speak facts about the King is hypocrite and only cares about his position than anything else.
2.What's with the scene Yu Yuan have personal interest with Bai Fenxi, and suddenly tried to kill her in Mount Wu ??
3.They married for 5 years and still don't have kids. Mmm, should they worried about heir ??
4.I am really curious about maid of Queen Baili. I noticed that they never showed her face. She has so many dialogues but still no face. I thought she will be like this important character but turned out they just too lazy to use real actor there. Kinda disappointed.
5.Kinda wish it would be grand revelation that she is the Princess Xiyun.

For everyone coming here from Love Like The Galaxy and expect it to be at least the same (like me, lol), then don't. I love LLTG, but WRTW is just completely different drama. Bai-Hei Fenxi are two powerful characters to begin with, so don't expect their interaction will be as lovey dovey teenagers as Li Bu Yi-Saoshang. For me, it's still a right amount of chemistry considering their background as masters in martial art world. LLTG has so many sweet moments as couple compare to WRTW , but it is understandable since WRTW has more going on in politics story line. So, the romance built around the politics plot, whereas LLTG main plot built around the romance line. With that in mind, I could enjoy watching WRTW without longing the trace of LLTG. It has great plot on palace politics. Unfortunately, everything are rushed in final episodes. As a result, the final battle feels like anti-climax. It's 9/10 until 5 last episodes which I think it's kind of mess there. I like ZL as Bai Fenxi more than her as Feng Xiyun, maybe because of her voice is just not give that kind of persona. some people complained about ZL/YY forced chemistry, but I didn't see it (and this is come from me who still can't move on from ZL/WL over the roof chemistry in LLTG). I was very much still smitten whenever YY character stare at ZL character. and the kiss, kinda better than LLTG , lol.

Tried really hard to get into this drama but ended up dropping it after 10+ episodes. Maybe it was a bad idea…
It takes me exactly a month after LLTG. Lol, I thought I would never get over with it. As I agree the chemistry between the two is not to compare with LLTG, I also realize that it's completely different story and characters. As I immersed into story, I could separate Bai Fanxi and Saoshang as a character. As a result, I found Bai-Hee Fanxi relationship much more be believable and started to invested into it. Yes,when I watched LLTG, li buyi-saoshang showed their chemistry by small touch, gentle voice, affirmation, and that's what made their interaction is so over the roof. But I also realized, it's LiBuyi-Saoshang, and they are not Bai-Hei Fenxi, the best duo in martial arts world. Of course their relationship and their interaction will be completely different. Just by that, I started to enjoy YY and ZL chemistry. I personally think it fits their character and story. Give it a time. And btw, kiss here is better than LLTG. Lol. Sorry, guys.

If a fiction broke you, it's definitely not 0/10. Lol.
Sorry, what I meant, if someone greatly affected by a fiction, it means the story is that good to get the impact . So I knew you were joking and "0/10" is more like sarcastic comment.

Sorry, I mean on romance department. I guess AOS attraction for its viewer also greatly affected by romance plot line (considering most kdrama viewer are female).

Title 20th Century Girl Spoiler
I loved everything about this movie EXCEPT the ending. I thought it was lazy, rushed and unecessary. I get that…
On the contrary. The writer tried avoid the cliche but making it not subtle. No explanation. No memory around he die. Normally viewer take back to POV of character who died, but this, nothing. Viewer feeling are the same with FL character. We just left out of the blue, and force to accept that yeah, he died and you just know it the same time with FL. No consolation epilogue, only bad quality video. No letter. No FL move on. The biggest love story in your life ends just like that after agonizing 20 years in curiosity. Kinda cruel but in real life, most death are not dramatised or romanticized. For most people, they don't have a chance to meet their first love, first crush.life just not drama.

No. She found out in exhibition when she saw the paint. Just like the rest of us.

i'm I the only one who thought this was Reply 1988 repackaged into a quick lazy film? So many scenes were from…
No, because all of that is basically daily life of 90s kid. Our life only going to school, in school, school trip, home. Photo, phonebooth, camcorder, rent video, it's symbol of our youth. Otherwise, they won't have anything to tell.
