I give solid 9/10, but i really want to rant a bit about the characters.

Couldn't bring myself to watch Korean version, and chose this one instead. K version actor/actress selection turn me off since ML looks young and has no chemistry with PMY. Tbf, pmy has no chemistry with both protagonist and the villains. And I couldn't get rid antagonist male goofy image since I knew his works on tiktok (this is why actor should not active in social media). Overall, solid watch for Japanese, and believable. The acting is good, the pace is perfect, and I love each characters has some background, even for the villains.

And I know some people discontent with the ends of the villain and FL. But for me, that slight guilt is important as a way to make FL repent her own "sins" towards her best friend.

Most old jdrama has vibe like this. Subtle jokes, not exaggerated acting. I yet to find the good feel jdorama these days since most of them are live adaptation of garbage manga. Anyway, on top of my head Long vacation, beach boys, and nobuta wo produce has the same good feeling, subtle jokes, and great writing too. I found at the age of 30 in Netflix, focusing on women issue, also has great realistic writing, but not funny and mostly take more serious issue.

As a society, k need to fix this bullying culture over someone misfortune.

It's on Netflix and I thought I just killed time.with jdrama lately full of exaggerated act, lack of original storyline, poor manga/anime adaption or zero character development, surely 30mntu brought back what 90s jdrama all about, quality! The writer surely knew best how women friendship is, women issues and challenge at work and personal life...clearly this is well written drama, with great acting, multidimensional female character (IstG women in jdrama always written like they can't function well in front of guys), and tackle current issue and struggle of women in 30 dealing with works, marriage, and peer pressure from society. Nothing so dramatic, I am sure women viewer can relate to each character. The only downside is, not important tho, not so much eye candy guys, lol. No hot CEO, no good smile SML, and no swoon worthy male characters. For me it's like watching Because This Is My First Life but focusing on girls journey and minus white knight.

I know she is. But Kang ha Neul definitely outshine her in here. I think it's more on written part, they didn't give much her comedic line. Her character more on bitchy side. Remind me of my sassy girl.

The most but common stupid comeback from someone who quick to judge others but feeling hurt when other being disagree with her. Lame.

We can judge fairly in reality. But this is drama, fun fiction supposed to be drama. for me drama is an escape, and of course it's fun to see "bad boy that we can finally change" once for a while in drama. But also, if they don't want villain to steal the show, fix your protagonist characters. For God sake they are boring, and please make FL stop acting like she is 12 years old girl.

I don't really enjoy the romance part in this movie, though i have quite good laugh on the comedic part. Maybe because I don't think the characters are loveable, the kind you used to with kdrama. But it's okay cause the main story focusing on "bad marriage", not romantic story . People who's looking for romcom probably would not enjoy much. The movie is portraying more about reality of marriage and how couple's feeling can be grown separated as they are living together, how men and women think differently. This movie remind me about Ordinary Couple and has same vibe with it, except Love Reset had more comical side. For me it's 7.9/10. Give it a try if you want to watch comedy with slice of reality, but don't hope too much for romance that make your heart flutter.

13- 17 years to be neurosurgeon in Korea. They used the fastest scenario, 13 years since she graduated from high school. Still make sense for kdrama. Plus she was written as genius one.

Yes, agree..I don't see something inappropriate cause it's not like she was groomed or he acted upon his feeling (since still no plot for romance in early episodea). And she quite interesting character that from her matureness, I can understand why he grew feeling toward her. Beside, he didn't grew up a feeling upon see her (which mean it was not physical thing) but later after they got closer and how he could be seen admiring her (compare to just simple crush).

See my comment above. There were no even romance scenes during high schools episodes. Lust is strong word when the teacher never did anything inappropriate to her.

It's amazing how people hate age gap in Doctors but not Goblin. Doctors so much age appropriate than goblin in which:
-in the beginning ML purely wanted to help FL increasing her potential. Unlike goblin where it started with knowing "bride at first sight".
-even though ML grew up feeling toward FL,it's never clearly shown in her teenage episodes and no advance ever making toward FL, and he never acted upon it,nothing cross the line.at that time, it's more like admiration in ML side. unlike goblin where ML kept asking the FL to see him as potential lover.
-teenage FL so much mature in Doctors compare to Goblin (where she acted childish and cute like normal 15 years old high schooler) due to her circumstances.
-FL is bad ass at 17. I understand why even 26 male adult like the teacher EVENTUALLY grew feeling toward her. I mean she's cool, smart, pretty, and can kick some male ass. Rarely you will meet girl like that in your lifetime, so I don't see nothing inappropriate + the teacher just keep quite about his feeling (he's probably wait for her to be graduated or something. And no, no grooming. Instead, he showed her path to success in life)

And all romantic things, scene, story, happened 13 years after where everyone is age appropriate, then the story shifted to romance plot. During teenage years, there is no romance plot at all, they are focusing on her family story and how the teacher help her to be a better student.

I am surprise the rating is not 5 and below. The act, the story, dialogue are so ridiculous. How you have bandage all over your head and eye when you just have scratch on your cheek ??!! The FL is basically no brain, the ML only have one thing in mind about the FL, and yes, I know this is taken from smut, but it feels like high school class director took the shot of every intimate scene. I will give this 4.0 only for the effort.

Nothing, they don't make like this anymore since it's not typical drama that attracts people a lot. Too realistic. But you may enjoy Because it's my first life,where the similarity that they explore the character and showed the raw feeling of them.

Jung ji oh is a man of pride and actually very insecure inside. While he loved jun young to death, once they back together it was appeared to him that he and jun young were in different class (social). But not aware on his own insecurity, his pride led him to believe that Jun young was the "trouble" one. That she was cold, selfish,she's not able to understand him enough,etc. there was this pivotal scene, before he decided to break ties with her,where he saw Jun young met in cafe with his ex, the doctor. It's not merely simple jealousy but also insecurity that Jun young was in fact out of his league. Not to mention he had issue with his father, and he came from poor family despite himself being accomplish director, when Jun young came from wealthy one (despite not really shown in her daily appearance) not too mention also a talented young director. He sabotage their relationship cause he felt insecure dating her. It seemed stupid reason to break up in drama,but it happens a lot in real life esp with man. The worst part was he made like it was her fault, that she's not "caring" enough about their relationship. I felt bad for Jun young to be just cut out without real reason and that the most heartbroken break up I ever seen in drama. The pain was real. After sometime he realized that it is his own pride that not let him dating someone "above" him. It's kinda difficult to understand at first his reason, but I watched it 3 times at first just to understand the whole character.

That's why I love this series so much cause it's so realistic. Their conflict came from within each character,not because external or plot line. I hope this help.

8.5/10 due to fresh idea, fast paced, music,and nice cloth. The romance could be better, and really don't mind follow up the passionate kiss. Like, are they couple now ??The lack is acting part.and kinda expected plot twist, but didn't get any in the end, but it's okay.
