I was dreading starting this , but I finally managed to catch up... All I have to say is that from the many survival shows that I've watched, it finally clicked to me... If you don't have a large/dedicated fanbase and if you're not "handsome", you'll always be overlooked. This isn't to take away from anyone in particular, but it's such a shame to see really talented people get such low rankings and scores from the live-audience. Korean survival shows are mainly about looks and popularity...sigh
My top picks (so far): 1. Leo 2. Junmin 3. Ching Yu 4. Sangwon 5. Yun seo
aww episode 8 is my fav episode so far (alongside ep 6) 🥹i know people have their personal beef with this bl, but im honestly really enjoying it. this almost feels like Light On Me's child 😭 i love it. cant wait for the finale 🥲.
I can't believe it took me so long to watch this drama! I’m so glad I didn’t let the featured reviews sway me and decided to experience it for myself.
In my opinion, this drama deserves at least an 8.5+ in ratings. I enjoyed every moment of it! It’s been ages since a show kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering what would happen next. I couldn’t put it down and ended up binge-watching until 5 a.m. because it was just that good.
The storyline was solid, and the acting was phenomenal! I honestly feel like it could've gone on until 16 episodes without losing its plot.
Decided to watch The King of Pigs for the first time right after to satisfy my greed for revenge, lol.
i get that, but mk mentioned in previous episodes that he just cut off contact with him without explaining why. it was only when they talked on the show he explained why. yj said it himself he 'assumed' he knew, which kinda indicates things werent ended mutually. yk didnt communicate with him that he lost interest in him.
I don't mean to judge his entire personality, but I noticed some contradictions in his actions compared to what he claims to believe in. For instance, during the anonymous Q&A scene in episode 8, there was a question about choosing between an avoidant lover who doesn't explain their anger and a hot-tempered lover who complains about everything. It struck me as odd when YJ chose the hot-tempered type because he had been hurt by the avoidant type. However, it was YJ who cut off contact with MK when they were in a relationship, and every time MK tried to ask why, YJ avoided or ignored him. It seems YJ may have changed based on how he approached MK in episode 8.
Another moment that stood out to me was when he claimed that MK was uncomfortable around him and ignoring him, and that he didn't feel that way towards MK. However, from the moment MK joined the house, YJ consistently expressed in confessionals that he felt uneasy around MK and actively avoided him.
But that's just how I saw it. Curious to hear how others view their situationship.
in my opinion, i feel like youngjoon is being a hypocrite 🥲. also, hwi and seungjin???? im honestly here for it. its about time hwi moves on. only hoping for the best ! i would say the way i feel about seongmin now is very different from how i felt at the start of the show...and not in a good way 😭 all of that aside, im happy everyone is being honest with their feelings...atleast most of them 🙃
a lot of people are questioning "whats so great about seongmin" and why he's so popular among the men and that is so distasteful. those who are fond of him obviously have something they like about him and he's being true to his feelings, which is refreshing. people need to realize these are real people with real feelings and just because you have a certain 'ship' doesnt mean you get to sh!t on these men for the decision they make and why they make them. i love all the cast and im honestly rooting for everyone's happiness.
my fav so far is Hwi. he's looks like he's such a loverboy. at first glance, i thought he was gonna be the nonchalant type but seeing him blush and be nervous around Seongmin really changed his image in my eyes 😩🫶🏾 so far im rooting for him. on the other hand...looks like this season is gonna be messyyyy since they've now allowed the ex's to be there at the same time. can't wait for the following eps.
