just curious what is a non pretentious good art movie in your opinion?

actually I have stopped watching surface level rom-com kdramas, earlier I used to enjoy such kdramas but not anymore so yeah each to their own opinion. I found almost all characters shallow and badly written ..like a 2d personality without much shades in their personality like characters of your typical rom-com webtoons..poor female lead not loved by anyone and had to do a contrat level marriage to a rich and cold male lead in suits..not for my taste any more..regarding chemistry I rarely find good chemistry in kdramas anymore ..I don't give a sh*t about kissing scenes and how characters do it but a good chemistry for me is like you want to root for them and feel that yes they do love and care for each other and understand each other even if they have not kissed yet ..for example MLs in Mr sunshine , the way characters interacts so naturally makes their chemistry good and not skinship ..but yeah it is how I feel and that's why I find their chemistry shallow too like the characters

I think they will break up with their existing partners before proceeding with their relation.. I find cheaters extremely disgusting as well but I also feel it is normal to fall in love again and hope they break up first.
I love Soobin as well..the actor who played ML, I find him apalling due to his disgusting comments before(typical korean man), Soobin used to play fun and cool characters ..I don't know why she opted such a cringe character this time

true right..ML acting like cringe leads from romance webtoons in suits and FL being a mute doll acting like a teenagers...MDListers will go crazy over it..give them leads with a personality and shades then will criticize it..lol

don't want to be a hater..but just curious what do you guys like so much about "when the phone rings"? I tried to watch few episodes but cringed so hard that I had to skip lots of scenes and finally decided to just drop it..the both male and female leads were so badly written(in my opinion).

I think he was trained for months before going ..and isn't it possible now for super rich people to pay huge amount and go to space and he is a doctor going there for some research

I am still processing how people found when the phone rings so good when it was so cliche and had cringe characters and both FL and ML was so bland and cartoonish(in wattapd way), while people are criticizing it with just 2 EPs..I am going to watch it because at-lest characters have shades and personality and the plot exists

versatile doesn't mean playing different occupations but different personalities..but yeah he is a good actor and plays his role well

Her characters are always so different in mannerisms..like she always manages to play a different personality.
I am glad she never gets type-casted in a role and performs the same person just in a different font.

she takes her sweet time to choose role , even after huge success of the heirs, DOTS, fight for my way and my liberation Diary she didn't jump to any project..I think she focuses on the type of character a lot. She was alos on a fan meeting tour and regarding being a model , it is part of her job and literally every actor do it.
I hope she ventures mor einto movies now
