I've finally gotten a weekend off work, and it's been rainy. Perfect mood for just cuddling up on the sofa to binge and rewatch a series like this. There are times when I wish I could forget the experience of watching something for the first time so I can re-experience that feeling, but regardless of how many times I watch it, it's still feels just as good, if not better. It gives me the chance to appreciate the details or subtle things I might have missed. While there is a lot of scenes that hurts the heart, it's also very healing.
Yes! I loved the book club's members' analysis of the different literatures while showing the characters and scenes they pertain to. As a fan of literature and drama series, there's a lot we can take/learn from them and apply to our real lives. We can reflect and grow along with the characters.

That's true, I guess. But I would still imagine Yan would think his sister is fierce even from his perspective. Maybe it more align with Yifan's perspective.
I also wished we saw more Zhizhi. However, even better, I wished that the scenes we got with her, she was more feisty. You know what I mean? In HL, with her brother, she was more...fierce? Idk what word to use. Here, she seems to adore her brother more. She's also more tame? Idk. Also, the second couple could have been utilized more, I think. Still great, just some thoughts.
