Remake? No. Adaptation? Yes.
The core story is still the same with Chinese version, but the detailed storyline is more explored. In my opinion, watching this drama really delivers my emotional feels that made me cry several times, haha. And I like how the three siblings didn't get trapped in a love triangle.
However, the downside for me is that the romance between Juwon and Sanha. I’m not sure if it’s because of their lack of chemistry or if they’re just better off as siblings until the end. Some parts like the kiss scenes, I even skipped, haha. Tbh, the second couple is cuter—they don’t have many moments, but they’re still sweet.
Oh, and regarding the actors’ performances, I think they did well overall. But for Juwon’s teenage character, it would’ve been better if he had been portrayed as more “childish,” especially since his character here is meant to be talkative. His acting wasn’t bad; it just didn’t fully fit the character.
Overall, this drama is still worth to watch! 💛

Little Bit Disappointed for The Ending
I really loved the first season. Every cast member had their own role with a well-balanced portion. The storyline was written very well. However, the second season was quite disappointing—there were many new cast additions, but their roles felt unclear. Some of the CGI for the monsters was also poorly done, especially in the grass-tree scenes. Season 3 was slightly better, but the ending resolution was a bit underwhelming. In my opinion, it's S1 > S3 > S2
But, tbh the acting is 💯

LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS
Before watching, please lower your expectations! This is totally different if you think this is will similar with Bong Soon version.Everything is fine until ep 3, but after that the plot is mess. Idk how the writernim think, but they just wasted all potential. Main lead didn't even get the 'spotlight' that they deserved. The 'superpower' even only showed in early episode and closed to ending. So many cringe scene esp grandma and her bf (I always skipped this part ). They can use this time for better scene pls. So many important things still not explained. How they solve every problem also the worst.

No justice for weak people
Just watched Silenced (2011), and now I believe even more that there's no justice in this world for the weak. This movie hit me hard—it's heartbreaking to see how people in power can abuse, silence, and destroy lives, while the victims are left with nothing but pain and fear. It hurts even more knowing this isn’t just fiction—this really happened. And in the end, none of the victims got the justice they deserved. No happy ending. Just quiet suffering.I also read from some news that after the film was released, it caused public outrage and led to the case being reopened. But still, it doesn’t erase the fact that the victims have to live with that trauma for the rest of their lives. Some of them never even made it through. It’s painful, it’s unfair, and it leaves you questioning the kind of world we live in.
This movie doesn’t just tell a story—it opens your eyes, and breaks your heart. 🥺
