Ironically, I like the character of the Saintess. She's irrevocably evil, but not evil for evil's sake. She has a great aim and one person she sticks too (well, take this lightly because based on the show it seems shes been seducing many powerful men over the past 10 years) but I like that She's a " my winner takes all " type of person. Villains who do everything for themselves and then discard the people they supposedly 'loved' left and right are so common, it's boring! Haha

@yasmine Mehh you're way off. Cang Xuan's aura annoys me. Xiang Liu is obviously a piece of shit and no good for the FL. LLmaoaoao, I'm not basing my opinions of them off romance, I hate romance and watch historical dramas for tension and power struggles. Ya'll fanwar shipping-obsessed people who read the book can do that. But Xiang Liu as a character, a demon flustered by love and also vicious and unyielding is cool. If he were to die in the show I would not care, hell if the FL killed him I wouldn't care. He's hot and true to himself that's all. I dislike Cang Xuan for abandoning his sister, allowing his other sister to bully the weak, and just overall doing things cruelly in the name of unifcation and spreading martial power, all while slightly pretending it's all not up to him. But it's also his aura. I'm power scaling and character criticizing in my head. Technically I disliked Shiqi the most because he was weak, but his sincerity and words are moving. Anyways, have fun ( ￣▽￣)

They are REALLY REALLY good. JOL was a high profile series, it drove everyone crazy in 2019. But it has deep plots and many funny/important interactions, so you need to pay attention. Also the ML is really good actor. Its free on Viki, just like Under the Skin. But Under the Skin is more of just a cop and crime drama, with a twist. If you've watched League of Nobleman, it's like the modern version of that, lol
