迷迷糊糊.... I don't get how putting a novel into the science fiction category diminishes it... and never did I say "it was just science fiction" whatever that means. Do people really say that? Anyway...
No offense, and I might be a bit indolent when it comes to understanding comment sections, but I don't get the reason for replying to me with such a long paragraph.

Hmm..your comment comes off as a bit surprising/implausible as I have heard everyone who has read the book, translators, and even the author himself (in interviews) refer to the novel trilogy as sci-fi.
In any case, to divert confusion I meant I don't like *watching* Sci-Fi series. But I am someone who has had my fair dip into science fiction novels. Haha, I also doubt anyone would crown Star Trek and Star Wars as the epitome of Sci-Fiction media, though they are quite well done.
The visualisation of some of the hard science concepts is very cool and well done but... so far unexplained or…
If their chemistry was a major issue, I feel that it's resolved by the time viewers get to Episode 6. (This is coming from someone who has never read the book)
Based on their character portrayals right now, if these two were 10-20 years younger, they'd be driving the CP and BL fans crazy
I've heard how great the book is but never read it. Anyway, I'm not into Sci-fi series (more so sci-fi movies) but this has drawn me in. The way the Shooter and The Farmer theories were portrayed was quite compelling. Haha, it had me searching laws of physics on another tab
I hope to GOD So-e picks Sejun. There's just something about him! He's a walking prince, he was a guardian type of charisma but can also be fun (fireworks in Inferno episode), and I adore how he cares for her.
I love Nadine but I don't know why she's on this show...like, she seems like someone who would date more seriously than this. But I definitely believe she's doing it for 'experience,' to feel something new on a vacation. Her only sin is she goes to Harvard BOOOOO PRINCETON ALL THE WAY!
Seulki shouldn't pick Jinyoung. No offense to his fans, but I feel like he is the playboy type. Nothing is wrong with that, but you can hurt people. He likes being liked but giving his heart whole-heartedly seems hard for him. There was a time for a while that he took no effort to find her after Paradise (almost 2 days!) But acts like their mutual attraction was so deep, LOL.
The other girls just seem so...Blahh? They don't give them enough screen time...because they mostly all like Jinyoung. LOL. Idk why though...the bad boy cold type is so 2016. EXCEPT FOR SE-JEONG. SHE IS A BAD B. And she's wise. She reminds me of myself...giving dating advice while I've never dated before, with my single ass LMAOAO.
Hanbin is calm and fun, I like his vibe.
I feel like contestants decisions to 'stick to one person' that they were interested from the first day is so silly. It wastes time. They should have more mingling activities in this show, and leave Paradise picks for the last couple of days.
It's so funny how Lee Da Hee (MY LOVE !!) is always saying something insightful/correct then she's ganged up on or viewed as wrong, only for her to come out right LOL.
And she's still so graceful about it. I would just be gloating every second that I get.
SHK acting was great. Why do ppl give her such a hard time? I feel like the majority of it is just bandwagoning…
I'm not going to lie, as her fan there were good reasons for it. She became pretty stagnant in her acting and stuck to the same genres and same/similar roles, so the fondness and nostalgia people had for her turned sour. Some actors are like that, but with actresses i feel like people get more judgemental. I was always rooting for her though
Try A Familiar Stranger! It was amazing and had a very understanding ML who stuck through with the Fl through…
Agree <3 OMG I'm so glad you watched it. I recently re-watched it as well hehe. I usually like longer dramas and cringe at romance but that one was so short and sweet
Any recommended drama with the same vibes as this?
Try A Familiar Stranger! It was amazing and had a very understanding ML who stuck through with the Fl through thick and thin, always believing her first. It also had alot of hot kissing scenes lol

I'll pretend this is the last episode
I'm glad she did this drama!

I searched by it's title 谷远山上有书院, but it's not subbed on this site. It is also on Tencent Video, but I'm not sure it's subbed

I'd hate for his acting to be subpar/overshined and then he becomes a target for people to start attacking his past and road to success again.
