All this comments putting the belated Kim Sae Ron's family and Kim Soo Hyun on the same level are quite stupid…
This can happen to everybody, everywhere, because the possibilities are endless unfortunately.
People think that because they have read some things on internet they are omniscient and superior of those affected by these dramas, but most of the time, the families are genuinely clueless until it blows up and it's only afterward that many little elements appear to have been clues of the bigger picture, but they couldn't understand it when it happened. These little things are what makes the family suffer even more and for a long time afterward because, indeed, they will question themselves and feel guilty for not having been able to guess what was going on, even if, deep down, it is not really their fault and it's definitely too easy to blame them after all the elements have been put together.
I have never experienced nothing like this in my family but for me it is common sense not to accuse people who have already been through a terrible ordeal without real proof that they knew but ignored the facts. I really despise how easy people make assumptions and slander others on internet.
All this comments putting the belated Kim Sae Ron's family and Kim Soo Hyun on the same level are quite stupid…
"They clearly stated that they knew that she was dating him" Since she was sixteen ? When ? Where ? If that's the case, I might agree with you, but I never saw that stated anywhere, so for me, right now, it's just your own assumptions. And that's my point. People are making many assumptions but state them here or elsewhere like facts. People need to think before anything they want. You're accountable for what you write on internet too.
Won't you be fine and ok if your daughter is alive and well? Of course they would be. You are only thinking they…
"they probably know it" What proofs or facts back that statement ? "They state in those statements that they knew" Where ? I didn't read any sentence of this kind. During the press conference itself that was never said, or I missed it, my Korean is not the best. So when did they say that during the press conference exactly ?
What you do here, if there is no proof or fact, is defamation or slander, which is a legal offense. You can think that, but not put it here as facts, like you do. It is your personal opinion or guess, which needs to be formulated accordingly in your sentences.
People think that can write anything on internet without being accountable for it, that's why people tend to think less or less before writing and don't put any effort and just write anything that passes their minds.
Even though it's a remake of an adaptation, I'm just so looking forward to it now. I'm sur Chang Wook will be amazing in this role, I can't wait to see it. And with Nana and Son Ye Jin this could be a masterpiece if they don't mess the story development and production. Fingers crossed ! I really don't want to be disappointed like I was with "Queen Woo".
I'm just happy he is getting first roles offers even if we know nothing about the plot or the character so far. I hope he will accept it. I just want to see him more in more diverse roles.
I'm gonna have unpopular opinion but this is just payback from Kim Sae Rons family and not about the truth. They…
All this comments putting the belated Kim Sae Ron's family and Kim Soo Hyun on the same level are quite stupid and really disturbing for me.
Yes, people need to think a little before making conclusions and accusing people of whatever they want or think without proofs.
"They were fine and ok with her dating " How do you know that ? Has it ever crossed your mind that she could have dated him in secret ? Have you ever been a teenager, hiding things from your parents ?
All you do is making assumptions and using that as fake facts to draw your own conclusions. Maybe they knew and did nothing, and in that case your point might be valid. But all the people that keep spreading that the family "failed" her because they didn't do anything when she was dating him are just making assumptions so far. They could have been clueless of everything until she died and that is when they discovered all of that and that is why everything is blowing up now.
But that is my personal assumption of it, I won't make it THE truth and go insulting people I don't know for that, after all, that's all their private matters even if it makes headlines everywhere.
We need more sageuk films, so that's a very good news. However, Kim Han Min's "Noryang" and "Hansan" weren't as…
MDL writers should definitely use more, or better, sources for their articles.
Thanks to Soompi and other Korean news articles, the plot of the movie is already much more interesting than given here: "Set two years after the fall of Goguryeo’s Pyongyang Castle, “The Sword: A Legend of The Red Wolf” follows a warrior who has lost his memory and becomes entangled in a ruthless battle among five factions to claim the Sword of Godumakhan, a sword that is legendary in Goguryeo. The film is expected to begin production as early as August."
We need more sageuk films, so that's a very good news. However, Kim Han Min's "Noryang" and "Hansan" weren't as good as the "The Admiral" for me, so I hope he will not go overboard (especially with special effects) with this one. "the story of a warrior set in the Goguryeo period" is a little plain for now, but hopefully the plot will be more interesting when more is revealed.
And it would be nice to see Park Bo Gum playing a warrior in a "serious" sageuk. He was good in "Love in the Moonlight", at that times the genre was still relatively new, but now, the role of the crown prince in a rom-com sageuk has become quite stereotypical so it will be nice to take on this challenge. I hope he will accept the role.
Then you should watch "When the Weather Is Fine". Definitely not a rom-com or office romance and, for me, one…
I am surprised because it's the first time I see someone who like her thinking that Mok Hae Won in "When the Weather Is Fine" is "one of her weaker roles". I guess it's just a matter of preferences. ^^
Go and cast your own better candidate. This director said they want PMY. Nobody will stop you from wanting your…
Well, if for you this was a normal answer sharing a different opinion over a subject, we definitely not have the same bases of communication. Too bad for your if you don't see the problematic of your way to "provide an opinion".
Park min young is one the best in Korea what are u talking about ?
Look, I received a proper education and don't need an artificial brain to think and write for me, so your bitter answer that again is an attack, is totally out of context.
The person attacking, whom I and cornbread answered to, deleted their profile so the messages are nowhere to be seen now. That's pretty obvious, I don't know why you're feigning that you don't know it.
Again, if you can't make the difference between debating over contradictory opinions, and attacking someone for a different opinion like you do, too bad for you, it's not my problem.
You're slacking lo_ve. Where are the articles for the hundreds & hundreds of offers other actors & actresses have…
They are too busy reading Koreaboo with Lily Alice to quote their highly important news in very useful articles here. They have good priorities. Casting news are not so important for MDL after all.
Go and cast your own better candidate. This director said they want PMY. Nobody will stop you from wanting your…
Are people still allowed to express their own opinion or should they ask you for permission before expressing anything on MDL ?
These kind of comments really baffle me. You can disagree, but I don't see why people like you always feel the need to attack those who don't agree with them.
And for the records I'm a huge fan of Park Min Young, but I use my brain and can accept that others have different opinions than mine.
Park min young is one the best in Korea what are u talking about ?
Look, I'm a huge fan of Park Min Young, but your comments are totally delusional here and I'm baffled to see so many people liking, meaning agreeing, with such attacks that are groundless.
That person just wrote a comment about how happy they are with the cast of Wi Ha Jun for this drama, but have doubts about Park Min Young fitting this role, while clearly stating that they could have a great surprise once the drama aired. That's it.
Then you attacked them with slander and diffamation. Their comment isn't misogynistic, they just stated a preference. Why raving like that ? So many people on MDL can't accept that others can have a different opinion. If they had insulted or defamed Park Min Young it would have been fine to answer back something regarding the "hate" or "negativity", but here the only "hate" and "negativity" I see is from you. This is insanity, clearly. Typical hysterical behaviour of blinded fans.
People are free to express their opinions and they shouldn't be attack for them. You can disagree and express it, but why the need to use attacks and insults ? That's exactly the behaviour that is making the comments sections on this website so malign.
I plan to watch the drama as I love Jun Young and his acting, and I think he will not disappoint in this role. But, as I already mentioned when the first news of this project with him came out, he doesn't really fit the "vigorous fitness enthusiast" image of the character, at least for me. Jun Young has a lean fit body, but I would have imagined someone more buffed for this role, like Woo Do Hwan or Wi Ha Jun, for examples.
