This is not new. Despite the guidelines some staff here do whatever they want with edits and there is nobody in charge to check or any system to report their decisions if we think they are wrong. However, according the guidelines, animated movies are not forbidden here so they can be added. But "KPop Demon Hunters" isn't a Korean co-production so it shouldn't have been added indeed.

Well I'm not from the USA, I particularly dislike many things coming from there and my culture hasn't been influenced much by them so I don't see the point. It's not because someone share a different opinion that we must assume things about them.

All cultures have been mocked through ignorant stereotypes. It's not because I don't think some mocking about my culture is actually funny that I will scream "racism" or feel offended by it. Ohlala, the days when everyone could make fun of everything without the whole world feeling offended are long gone indeed. For that, it was definitely better before! Your truth isn't "the" truth, you know. As Tom commented, it's the director himself that praised Chae Min for his acting. And I do think a seasoned and talented director has a better eye and his opinion has more weight about an actor skills than some random watcher...

Humility is important in life, our tastes and opinions are different from universal truth or fact. You don't like him ? Fine, but don't tell others what they should think about him. I like his acting even though his previous roles or dramas weren't that good. It doesn't make it the "truth", it's just my opinion.

Can't wait to see his portrayal of the king character.

He has already nailed the role visually for me. All the pictures of him as King Lee Heon are gorgeous and I think he fits the role perfectly. I'm also sure he will do a really good job at portraying this multi-faced character, even though I guess I won't be very excited by this fusion sageuk story around food. Hopefully it will still be an entertaining watch.

The plot of this film sounds very interesting. I'm looking forward to it.

Both actors are good but I'm mostly excited by the plot. Finally something very original for a sageuk ! I'm really looking forward to this story, especially since it will be based on real historical characters and events. I hope they will be faithful to the sources and don't try to make it too "extravagant" for the big screen, as most of sageuk films have been for the last few years.
