Was anyone else curious about the scene that Lady Wuji described regarding when GZY’s mother and father met? Who was he fighting? Why was she there? Why did he want her to forget that they met? Of course, I could just be reading too much into it, but this seems curious to me.

I didn’t catch that. I need to go back and watch that scene.

All of this. The events surrounding the deaths of GZY’s brother and father have been festering at the back of my mind since they happened. It just seemed like too much coincidences and good timing for the brother who “died” to not be involved somehow.

I had my suspicions.

I think the only thing they’ve revealed so far is that her goal was to marry the next sword wielder ( which she hasn’t yet done and won’t actually do if he can’t pass the trials according to what we know right now ).

There are a few characters that I think have more to them than meets the eye, and Jin Fan is one. There have been a few scenes where it seems like Jin Fan has some pretty deep knowledge. I’m still waiting to see the reappearance of the guy who was able to identify the spirit herb and what his identity is (the one Jin Fan knew and brought in but didn’t want to be asked who he was or where he came from).

I’m a bit stunned personally. He has a lot of potential if this is his first big work based on his acting in MJTY.

Better/more marketing ahead of time. I found out about Wrong Carriage, Right Groom a few months ago but didn’t find out about Legend of Zhuohua until after it started airing.

The air date is for Youku, the main airing platform. Viki sometimes doesn’t have the right to air them until a few days later based on agreement with the main airing platform.

1. yes. There’s a sml that interferes more in the first 20 episodes. He gradually is less present and backs off. The fl never had romantic feelings for him.
2. Yes, pretty good romance. it’s a very cutesy romance. There are a few kisses throughout.
4. For a xanxia c-drama, yes, but it is more of the hugging, forehead & cheek kiss, etc variety. not hot and heavy.
5. They acknowledge their feelings and get together in episode 21 & 22.
6. Not really what I’d say is a breakup at all so far.

That cliffhanger at the end of episode 18 after which we have to wait a couple of days is too cruel. I want to know her answer and if she tells him about the drunken kiss. lol.

From the previews the next up is the master/disciple tribulation. I think a lot of us are waiting on the demon tribulation though. 🙌

I’d advise giving it a try through at least the first 8 episodes to see if you like it. I’m enjoying it, and I am seeing others that are liking it too.

Yeah, this is what I think too, especially since she seems like she’s already distinguishing LCK from Chu Kong when she talks about them.
