Sorry to break it to some people, but i’ll believe there’s a Season 2 when it actually drops. After getting disappointed by The On1y One, i’m NEVER trusting any BL production company EVER.
Thinking about it now got me all emotionalðŸ˜ðŸ˜
The manhwa is one of my favorite yaoi and will not expect a lot from this except it has a budget like Love in the Big City or Love for Love's Sake.
I still do not know why South Korea do not make quality BL like they used too. They prefer to turn a BL drama to a straight one. At least give us bromance.
I am same as you, my first kdrama is boys over flowers and i have watched lots of kdramas and jdramas, in the…
I discovered BL dramas in 2016 and my life has never remained the same. I used to read yaoi mangas until i came acrossTakumi Kun Pure then i went down a rabbit hole. I watched Boys love which was a Japanese BL, then Lan Yu, A Crimson Mark which was a historical Korean BL, then Bishonen, Addicted , A Frozen Flower (Korean) Just Friends? (Korean), The King and the Clown, Taboo, Fujimi Orchestra, Ambiguous focus.
Most had sad ending if not all.
Then later on i saw Views of Love: Grey Rainbow which was my first Thai BL, my second Thai BL was What the duck (which was terrible) I almost stopped watching it until MewArt were introduced. I also remember how we have to wait for lazy Subber to translate Thai BL for usðŸ˜ðŸ˜
The series doesn't follow the novel. They toned down alot of things. Some people who read the novel said Liu Yi…
You are welcome. I try not to focus on their lips LMAO and focus on their faces and subtitle.
Allow me to rant a little
I would have loved to see the actors speak in Cantonese. Because i don't understand the logic behind dubbing in Cantonese.
Like even though the settings is in Hong Kong shouldn't be a reason to dub in Cantonese... if they wanted the language they should have gotten actors who speak Cantonese or allow the actors take Cantonese language classes. And it is weird seeing some actors speak Cantonese while some speak in Mandarin in the drama.
I remember telling someone that To My Shore was filmed in Thailand and the story was based in Thailand settings all the actors spoke Mandarin.
They shadow banned alot of people's post on IG recently.
No sometimes some BL companies behave that way. When you post clips from the drama they copyright it and Instagram removes the post. Instagram are just problematic. There are lot of videos on tik tok which are not shadow banned over there.
