I haven't read the novel but this whole trend of toning things down really frustrates me because it's happening…
LMAO @pearl clutching generation.
What annoys me the most is that a lot of the people complaining about how toxic it is don't even watch the Chinese BLs that are not toxic. They only watch the toxic ones and then act as if all Chinese BLs are like that, when they're really not. It's only a small portion of the toxic bls that have been adapted.
So far, To My Shore and Double Helix are probably the closest to being genuinely toxic. Meanwhile, Revenged Love, Kill to Love, Meet You at the Blossom, and Sammy's Children's Day are nowhere near as toxic as the novels they were adapted from.
What? He’s already so intense. He went to tell/apologise to the mom about the brother’s leg. He confronted…
Yo chill, it is not that deep.
At the end of the day, i like what i like. Not every story needs to be soft and wholesome. I for one enjoy darker, messier, more toxic fiction, and that's okay. The darker the better for me.
I'm not looking for a fairytale or a perfect green-flag romance.
Sometimes i wish they hadn't toned down Lu Feng's character. Part of what made him so compelling was how intense, obsessive, and unapologetically flawed he was.
Smoothing out those darker edges takes away some of what made the character so memorable in the first place.
After seeing the preview for the next episodes and the way some people have been acting on other socials, I genuinely…
They can come at us if they want. I'm ready to push back. Plenty of people enjoy toxic BLs, whether it's manga, manhwa, novels, or dramas—some of the most popular titles in the genre are built around those dynamics. The moral police can keep preaching to a wall for all i care. Even lezhin top bl reads are toxic bls.

Looking forward to reading your comments! Nice to see someone else who's as invested in this show like me 🥺…
A round trip to love is among my top 3 favourite bl of all time and getting a remake has been something i have always wanted. Next stop is Addicted (I really hope we get a bl remake of that masterpiece)
The airport videos were crazy AF😩. Their company need to step up their game in protecting them.
After watching ep 10 preview some people need to know that no matter how fu*ked up their love (yes love) is Xiao Chen and Lu Feng will always love each other in a fu*ked up.
From Saturday forgive me in advance for everything i am going to say—shame completely included. And forgive me for who i’m about to turn into on Saturday, because i already know i’m going to lose my mind. AAAAAARRRGGHHHH 😭😭😭
