My only complaint is the time skip. I mean, can writers just not do this? Solid writing up to that point, then a time skip and HUGE at that... 7 years, seriously?
I forgive the kid for not knowing how to get out of the freezer, but the two employees are openly discussing 1st Degree Attempted Murder in front of their boss in an elevator, loud enough for him to overhear? Also, he wasn't taken to the hospital?? If you cared so much?? Instead you took a half-frozen, half-dead full-grown man to your house? How?? That must have required some real effort to carry him the whole time. I hate silly writing. Also, the picture of them outside the freeze... is this security footage that is being passed around the office? And, they guy responsible only got yelled at?? Not fired, disciplined, reported to police, nope.
Took a bit to get to this one but well worth it. Good chemistry, the story was well-written with some depth, loved the soundtrack. The first kiss with Baram on his toes was so cute.
Reminder: this was released in China in 2016... long before BL exploded into what it is now, This was a trailblazing production with new actors and a small budget and enjoyed by probably millions of people. Don't pass on this because one person in the comments section said they wouldn't recommend it.
then you must watch Stay with me its a remake of this show but its actually much better
Yikes. Some comment. If you were around when this was released, it was really groundbreaking and at the same time detrimental to future LGBTQ+ onscreen representation in China. Maybe you didn't like it but this show had 100s of millions of views and a big fan base that still exists today.
