I hate Eun Ji. She doesn't really love Jae Won. Just too proud and narcissistic to know what love really is. It's all about her and no way she's gonna lose against Jo Hyun.
Ok a nitpick but I can't believe that the first time Ji Hyun considered why Jae Won is treating him like this is because of a painful past, not until he talks about it with Ae Ri? Seriously? All those sleepless nights, text messages, and just now it occurs to him? Sheesh.
Wow some of the characters in this are terrible people, very selfish. If you've seen episode 7, you know who I…
Imagine dude so full of hate to run his mouth during class. Glad he got punched. He had it coming. Complete asshat.
And girl so in her own head and delusional she ignores his grief and forces herself on him? Read the room ya nutjob and leave the dude tf alone. He's not that into you, and hasn't been this whole time.
There are two very interesting themes here: Kiyoi doesn't want to be worshipped, he wants to be understood and loved while Hira thinks so little of himself that he just can't understand why Kiyoi would love a guy like him. This causes both to be massively insecure. I mean this show has a lot to say in 4 episodes.
I put this off for so long because Hira is just cringe, and hard to watch. But it ended good and I think the boys finally came to an understanding with one another.
Wonder how next week will pan out with Su Yu and his dad...
Always felt that when Bai Luo Yin told his dad about his ex-wife marrying Gu Hai's father, it was a big moment, a lesson about forgiveness that he could teach Bai Luo Yin: not to hate his mother, or Gu hai. A real turning point in the story.
I think the portrayal of the evil General Gu Wei Ting (Gu Hai's father) is a lot scarier. That actor nailed it. Wu Bi's father doesn't have that same edge. They did a better job of setting up GWT.
Still, loving this show.
Also, he is evil. What he does to Gu Hai in the book is just terrible. :(
Oh, wanna point out one other little thing, years ago like when this came out, there wasn't much BL and lot of shows had some disturbing themes, low budgets, newbie actors, but it was all we had... so that or nothing. The genre has matured and there is a ton of great BL out there now.
Welp, off to rewatch Addicted for the 100th time. \o/

Hope this part is done just as well.

In actuality, they were absolute strangers until even after the one mom married the other boy's father.
