Could be but it was more of a censorship from the higher powers kind of thing if I remember right. Which is weird coz some shows are basically soft porn yet characters can’t say they are gay but cship has always been wack.

I read somewhere that until very recently, bls were not allowed to define a character’s sexuality. I guess that’s why we got a lot of ‘i’m not gay, I only like you’ especially in the early bl shows. I think it was an interview with a director who does a lot of bl shows.

He did just learn how to open up to people after spending years inside a shell of his own making. It’ll be sometime before he will realize that closing one door doesn’t mean boarding down a whole house. He’ll need to learn how to let go of some people and need to learn that letting them go would not mean he won’t have a good future/present.
