You are absolutely correct!!! At the risk of outing myself, I turned 50 this year. I've raised 4 kids, two are boys now aged 30 & 20. I know that phase of youth stupidity where boys say the *worst* things, even if they don't mean what they say!! Or, even if they do mean it at the time, they don't stand by those beliefs a few years later. LOL
I'm one who's willing to give a LOT of leeway to these actors between the ages of 15-25. However, for the most part, I think they should know better, and know themselves better, by roughly 25.
One of my sons was also in the US Marine Corps ... and lemme tell ya, they could be seriously offensive at times!!! But, they all had the biggest, kindest, warmest hearts and would do anything to protect anyone who needed it. Deep down they were not racist, sexist, homophobic or bigoted ... but hearing how they spoke to each other and how they conversed, you'd think they were practically neo-nazis!! It was horrendous!! But it was all trash talk all done with brotherly love. It took me some time to adjust to their conversations, but I learned the truth over time when they had serious discussions as well.

Oh, he does claim to be fluent in Turkish, no question there! Definitely not going to argue on that point. lol
I don't know how many languages you speak, but most of us who know more than one still translate from our native tongue to the language being spoken if we don't know an exact word that means what we want.
In this case the Thai word for man / straight man being the exact same word -- and that word literally translating as "real man" so instead of using the phrase "straight man" using the phrase "real man" because it's the literal translation.
It would seem very inappropriate or awkward to anyone who hasn't done those kinds of translations in their head before. lol
Also, and I this is just a generalization, but usually I only get to have these kinds of pleasant chats with other adults, usually 30+ but it's nice. (of that's not your age group, take it as a compliment towards your maturity)

I could be mistaken, but I thought I had seen in an interview that even while he was living in Turkey they still spoke Thai at home. He also only spent 8 years in Turkey (8-16) but I do see what you're saying.
As for everything else, I think those are some of the best thoughts I've seen in the issue in a very long time. So few people can discuss the topic so reasonably. Thank for making me think about things and consider a different angle!!
Nh I don't think, Yi father is also whipped for Diao.
The car was a gift two years prior to Yi diving it. The gift was given in 2024 and Yi drove it in 2026. I'm pretty sure the car was driven numerous times in those two years, probably by both of them.
And you need a VIP account to watch on youku and it’s a horrible platform. So a get vpn and watch on Gaga if…
Yes. I usually stick with my home country on Gaga (USA) but there have been a few shows where I used my VPN through other country's servers to watch shows. Such as Gameboys season 2.
Greg Hsu looks so different with a short haircut. Also, can someone enlighten me on the legality of ghost marriages?…
That depends on the culture and their religion. Some cultures allow ghost marriages in order to pacify the souls of the deceased. They're have been religions that believe that in order to to have access to heaven you must be married, so if a church member dies early they can be married after death to allow them into the afterlife.
As for people marrying the dead, France is the only western country who allows it legally.
Here are a few tidbits regarding the practices: "Posthumous marriage—that is, nuptials in which one or both members of the couple are dead—is an established practice in China, Japan, Sudan, France, and even the United States, among members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The procedural and legal nuances of each approach vary wildly between cultures,"
"According to Chinese custom, older sons ought to marry before their younger brothers. If an older brother should die unmarried at a young age, however, there is a solution that keeps the social order intact: ghost marriage. In China, and among the Chinese in Taiwan and Singapore, ghost marriages are performed to address a variety of social and spiritual ills. Chief among these are the desire to placate the restless spirits of those who go to their grave unmarried. “Ghosts with families are liable to direct their discontent within the family circle,” writes Diana Martin in Chinese Ghost Marriage, “and it is here that ghost marriage becomes operative.”
"For deceased women, ghost marriage offers social and spiritual advantages in China’s patrilineal society. A woman who dies single, without having had children, has no-one to worship her memory or tend to her spirit. According to Chinese tradition, a dead woman cannot be memorialized within her family’s home. Her spirit tablet (a memorial to a dead person that is displayed in a home altar that honors the family ancestors) is forbidden from being placed among the family in which she grew up. A deceased married women, by contrast, gets to have her spirit tablet put on display in her husband’s home. Ghost marriage, therefore, ensures that a woman’s spirit can be worshipped by bringing her into the family of a husband who has been chosen for her after her death."

Mean, Krist & Joong are not homophobic in the least.
Mean gets hate because he said something as a joke that almost all BL across are accused of, and people took him seriously. (because people are idiots and look for reasons to hate) Mean said he was quitting acting and wasn't planning on doing any more BL's, he wanted to work behind the camera directing and producing. Then he said, "So, maybe I'll do BL again when I'm old and need money." What the haters don't acknowledge is that Mean also wrote The Yearbook as part of his university thesis project. After he "quit BL" he went on to direct and produce The Yearbook series as well as Remember Me and he has been in The Yearbook, Remember Me, War of Y, Why You... Y Me?, Dinosaur Love and has an upcoming role in Buddy Line Y Animal.
Krist was accused of being homophobic ever since he responded to a person asking, "Are you gay?" by saying, "No!!!!!!! 😡😡😡" But what people fail to also include is the fact that for few months prior to that response he had been asked the same question, literally, hundreds of times and had always been patient and polite giving his answers. However, also during that time he had a girlfriend who was being harassed, told that she was ruining KristSingto, given death threats and that the "fans" actions caused her to break up with Krist and they had a very rough break up. Furthermore, Krist was only 22 at the time and not very well prepared or protected by either his manager or his company and the whole experience finally caused him to lose patience and no longer be polite.
Now for Joong. First let's not forget that he is currently, at present, 22 years old. He first starred in a BL at the age of 18. While that's technically an adult -- that's not even remotely close to being an adult. His acting abilities have been suspect from the beginning, not just whether or not he was comfortable doing BL but his ability to act... period! So, I don't think his awkwardness in shows was because he was homophobic, but rather that he just wasn't a great actor and has needed to grow and gain experience in his profession. As for his comment when someone asked if he was gay and he said, "No, I'm a real man." let's break down where that answer came from. First, Thai is Joong's primary language and first language. Second, the word used for "male" and "straight male" is the **exact** same word in Thai. (ผู้ชาย or "pu-chai) which literally translates in English as "real man" in English. So, to Joong, saying "I am a straight male." and saying, "I am real man." are the exact same thing. So, when he was asked if he were gay and he tells them in Turkish, "No, I am a real man." then in his mind he was saying, "No, I am a straight man." His only mistake was assuming that all cultures used "straight" and "real" interchangeably and translating that into Turkish.
Bottom line: none of those three are homophobic.
God Itthipat, on the other hand... yeah, I have no excuses for him. He's just a homophobic prick. lol
romance between the teacher and FL is so uncomfortable 💀
Pretty sure since she was a senior in high school about ready to graduate that even in the story she was supposed to be roughly her real age. Prim issue 19. I believe since her character Fa is considered an adult the character must also be either 18 or 19. Whereas Win is 24. I would imagine Ajin is probably also assumed to be roughly that age as well. So there shouldn't be any issues with this pairing -- either as actors or as characters.
I suspect she would still be a main character, along with Yiwha. I feel like Namsine could have small supporting parts in a season 2, but that Fa, Ajin, Enigma & Yiwha would be the primary actors.
I'm not really sure what's the difference between the cut and uncut version because all bed scenes in the "uncut…
Because in this story the uncut version isn't about giving you longer bed scenes -- it's about giving you a more complete story. So what you get are longer scenes and added scenes that explain the story and all of their relationships more fully.
