Reminding myself...Ep 15 - the breakup episode... the best song in the episode was the song she shared with her…
I finished it, you can find my review at the top of the comments. But yes, I liked it and think it's worth watching even if the second part is worse. Thanks for your encouragement
It seems like they break up in episode 15, but could you please confirm if this is the case? And when do they…
They get back together on 20, not 22. This comment almost made me not watch the show, since a breakup from episode 15 to 22 of 24 total episodes, would have been soooo long.
Just finished it. It's good. But let me elaborate. First, I want to talk about all the comments you read here.…
- FL falls for ML at first sight in episode 1. - She blatantly pursues him. He tries to avoid her a bit at the start, but slowly gets more and more interested in her. - He is blind and this part is awesome. His blindess opens up cool sweet moments - In episode 8 they get together. - In episode 11 they have a small quarrel. But it's so ridiculous I would say it's not annoying. - In episode 12 they fix it - In episode 15 shit hits the fan and she breaks up with him. The reason is quite ridiculous. Well, the circunstances are big, it could be understandable that she would do it on the spur of the moment, but it shouldnt have lasted, since he didnt really do anything wrong. - She moves back to her hometown, he undergoes surgery, isnt blind anymore and takes the role of CEO of her fathers company and.... 3 year timeskip. - During this time, ML keeps track of FL, meanwhile FL tries to forget him, but we see she still misses him. - After the timeskip, ML goes to her hometown to do business and they meet by chance (more or less) - We get a few episodes where we clearly see both miss the otherone and are even making attempts to maybe get together again - Then the most annoying episode happens (maybe the only real annoying episode for me), ep19. - It really seemed that they were about to get together again, but suddenly in episode 19 both turn annoying. ML starts forcing himself to her, and she starts suddenly acting as if she was absolutly not interested in him, avoiding him and getting annoyed by him. But not even because of the forceful part... just because. Really makes no sense. - In episode 20 they get finally together gain. - From this point until the end they are very loving with eatchother. - There are a few annoying scenes like I explained in my post above, that make no sense, like bad comments or behaviours, but they are the exception, not the norm, thats why they look so out of place. They dont break their constant sweetness. - There's also quite a lot of satisfying scenes, like her mother being happy about them (while she hated the idea at the start), or when her friends meet him. - Near the end we see them marrying, then pregnant and in the final scene with a daughter. - Theres also 2 absolutly ridiculous miniplots that are never resolved and make no sense at all. Seems FL has some kind of schizophrenia because of a friend of her dying 3 years ago, but then the show forgets about it, and also we see how she almost miscarries the baby, which makes no sense because it happens 5 minutes before the ending, and lasts like 2 minutes then everything is fine. What was the point of that?
All in all, it's a sweet show, not perfect, but a recommended watch. And I say this dislikeing shows where bad things happen
Just finished it. It's good. But let me elaborate.
First, I want to talk about all the comments you read here. Many say the first half is good but the second bad. Some say that this is not true, and that the second part is fine.
Ok, as somebody who only likes lighthearted sweet shows, and dislikes problems, let me tell you my opinion about it. The second part is indeed not as bad as many comments make it seem. So, even if you are like me and dislike problems, breakups and that kind of stuff, I still recommend watching it.
The first part is clearly better. It's very sweet and the blindness topic makes the romance and their interactions quite romantic and sweet.
Then the problem happens, but while it is indeed a separation and a problem, it isnt neither as annoying or long as some comments make it out to be.
To make a comparation, I loved the first half of Our Secret, but the second part was so terribly annoying that I dont recommend watching that show. This doesnt happen with Crush. Yes, some annoying things happen, but they aren't very bad nor long. The show always keeps a sweet tone.
Besides that, the show isnt perfect either. Both leads are great and show their love constantly, which for me is the most important thing in a romance, but there are some random behaviours in some scenes that were kind of... abrupt. Like him hugging her from behind and her telling him: "you were more attractive before, you are too clingy now." I almost spat my drink when she said that. Or him getting jealous over a 4 year old, when they were already engaged and living together... for real. Theres a few more cringe moments like those, but they are the exception, usually both are lovely with the other.
Also, I do agree with the comments that say there are 2 small "plot twists" that happen so close to the end that make no sense. They are of no consequence to the plot, and it just doesnt make sense they even put them in. But since they are of no consequence, they dont make the show worse, its just surprising they decided to add them
All in all, to sum it up, if you like sweet lighthearted shows, I would totally recommend it, even if it has some annoyances in the middle episodes.
LOL FL and friend are going to steal something. Friend starts humming mission impossible song. FL: What are you doing? friend: music for tense moments, but copyright is too expensive so we need to hum it
why would he be with a self woman tho? She did nothing but sit around waiting for him to save her.
she was collecting data about their misschiefs from the start. she clearly didn't like all bad things they made her do. she clearly wasn't happy there even from the start. She waited forever for ML. it was her who took down the villain company, not ML. yes, he had made enough money to buy it, but the only reason he could is because she brought it down
we even see her think out loud: "I finally paid my debt", thinking about MLs father
- They get together in 14.- There is a very short missunderstanding a few episodes later where she thinks he was…
Yes, but Im pretty sensitive to love triangles and this girl didnt almost have any interactions with the leads. She shortly greets ML like 2 times. And the rest is just that she applies to be a potential bride for him between others, but thats just something the court is organizing and never has much importance, except to give a reason for her murder.
- mother disrespects her daughters boyfriend without even knowing him, disrespects her daughter... - daughter: mom, you have to understand it is me likeing him, not you - mother going crazy: HOW CAN YOU DISRESPECT ME SO MUCH!!!!
Of course. Theres people who like happy and bad endings, theres people who love and hate love triangles. Im talking from my point of view only, like you say.
But why do such a beautiful first half if you then want to turn the show into a mess of ridiculous coincidences, missunderstandings and behaviours. I know some people like those, but do it from the start so we know what type of show it is and dont get our hopes up thinking we have another Meeting You type of show
Reminding myself...Ep 15 - the breakup episode... the best song in the episode was the song she shared with her…
well I started it. episode 1! I'm sure I will love the first half. let's see if I don't regret it after that :P In Our Secret I loved the first half and hated the second to the point of disliking the show, for example
Reminding myself...Ep 15 - the breakup episode... the best song in the episode was the song she shared with her…
mmh are you sure it's short? Another comment says he "thinks" they get back together in 22. 7 episodes of breakup in a 24 episode show would be quite a lot if he is right
I didn’t really see the disconnect between the 1st half of the show vs the 2nd half. I know a lot of people…
Oh man, I was going to start this show. But I see this is yet another "ML does something and has to chase FL for several episodes apologizing to get her back" show. So tired of this trope Then, when in some drama its the girl doing something wrong, 1 apology, maybe 1 tease from ML, and everything is fine again. Sometimes even without the apology...
This show is so much better than our secret. Well, let me elaborate. In the first half, both shows are as good. Loved them both. Second half, Our Secret is a piece of crap, and this one is amazing. So yeah, this one is not just better, it's much more
But yes, I liked it and think it's worth watching even if the second part is worse. Thanks for your encouragement
